They say the average woman loses 15 - 30ML her entire period. I just went through 30 of these in one period. That's enough to donate a pint of blood. Super Plus tampons just can't keep up. Ladies, you know how it is when the bleeding just won't stop. Your whole life is altered, and you can't leave the house for long periods of time, and you certainly can't be far from a bathroom. This product is the only one that helps me feel like I'm having closer to a normal period than anything else I've tried. Yes, I still have to change it every hour and a half (or less, sometimes on super heavy days), but it's better than every forty minutes with super plus tampons. I find these to be more convenient and hygienic than the diva cup. I still have to double up with pads but at least I can have at least somewhat of a life with both. These can be hard to find so it's nice to always have them available online if needed.Bonus tip: take Ibuprofen to lessen bleeding. It helps. Otherwise I'd be changing even this monster tampon every hour.

These are a game-changer if your monthly experience is akin to the elevator scene from The Shining. It actually makes me angry at all the other absorbency categories (looking at you, Super Plus) because they're so ineffectual in comparison. Definitely reserve these for big-gun days though as they can be uncomfortable (or you can kinda feel them) if you're not bleeding heavily.I will be DEVASTATED if these are pulled from the market as they're the only reliable tamp for my insane ladytimes. Between these and Thinx, I feel like I can function in the world without fear of covering every available surface with blood.

After 3 kids, my flows are shorter and heavier. I rely on these to get me through the "deluge" of my heaviest days. I was on vacation last month and bought Tampax Pearl Ultra in a pinch and they did not hold up, they were more like super plus. Yay for major leaks on vacation, ugh! Since it was my heaviest moment, I didn't completely blame the tampon. This month I'm using up the rest of the Tampax box, and again I'm leaking all over the place, so I know it wasn't just a fluke last time.Playtex Ultra will stay on my Subscribe and Save list FOREVER. I can't live without them!

I have been using tampons for years and never before had I experienced tampons that caused me great discomfort and pain. I started experiencing unusual pain and discomfort 10 minutes after using this tampon. Something in my mind made me realize that it was the tampon even though I regularly use tampons for cycles. Once I removed the tampon the pain disappeared within 10 to 15 minutes. Strong observation. I don't know what chemicals are in this particular tampon but I have used Playtex tampons before, however I usually buy them from Wal-Mart in the store and never online. There is something wrong with these particular Playtex tampons that I bought here online from Amazon. These are not original and or there is something wrong with the chemicals and materials used to manufacture these tampons.

Ladies who have a heavy period, look no further! These are amazing! I'm so grateful that I can have them shipped to my door instead of announcing to the world via a conveyor belt at the grocery store and an embarrassed cashier, that my cycles are more like floods! The word "Cycles" make it sound tame, but for those who suffer, and I mean really suffer Aunt Flow in all her glory during that "time" time of the month, we ladies understand that Super is good and all, but just isn't going to cut it for us and our Amazon River flow!

These are so painful to insert! Amazon was out of my normal Kotex tampon so I ordered these thinking, "How different can they be?" Well... very different, apparently. The opening tip of the applicator has sharp edges uncushioned by the cotton tampon itself, and these stab into you as you insert the applicator. Then, once the applicator is inside, it's difficult and painful to depress the plunger part of the applicator to get the tampon inside, which leaves the tampon often stuck in a very uncomfortable position near the entrance of the vagina. To make things worse, half of them don't seem to absorb well and will start leaking before even a quarter of the tampon is filled. These are painful and wasteful, and I would not recommend them, especially not to uterus-havers already dealing with an abnormally heavy flow.

The Playtex Simply Gentle Glide tampons are new for me. The package comes with 20 plastic base tampons. It is great that they are fragrance-free, with no colors or dyes, BPA free, and gives you a 360 protection. Other tampons expand like a triangle or just a cylinder when full of liquids, however, the Simply Gentle Glide expands like a cone. This cone shape protects you from leaking while using the product. The shape of the base to insert the tampon, as well as to remove it is very comfortable. I have used Playtex in the past, but the came with a paper inserting base. I felt like they were uncomfortable when inserting them, so I prefer the plastic inserting base because it slides in without hurting you. The Simply Gentle Glide tampons changed that and now I like Playtex with the plastic inserting base. The tampons are made of rayon, cotton fiber, polyester & cotton for string, and polysorbate 20. The manufacturer informs that their regular tampons absorb 6 to 9 grams of liquid. I have a heavy flow and these work well!!Would I recommend these? Absolutely!

This is so stiff and hard! I am truly scared to use this especially with the risk of TSS. It’s clearly a fake! Packaging looks weird. I am sorry I didn’t read the reviews from year 2020. Everyone clearly hated it! And it took forever to arrive! Jeez! 0 stars for this product if I could

It is the only product that works for me on heavy days. Love this product!
