Product Description June, 1944. Through the D-Day landings, the Allies have seized a foothold on the beaches of Normandy. Now you must lead your troops forward as you push deeper into France and drive the German forces back. You will face intense resistance, machine gun fire, and mortar bombardment, but a great commander can turn the situation to their advantage. Undaunted: Normandy is a two-player deck-building war game that pits players against one another in the European theater of World War II. Every casualty you take removes a card from your deck, so you must adapt as the fight unfolds. The game follows the designer's grandfathers' experiences as part of the US 30th Infantry Division during Operation Overlord and Operation Cobra, and was published to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the legendary Allied offensive. A: This is a stand-alone game.  You don't need to purchase anything else to supplement it unless you want to protect your cards with sleeves.

**Q: Seems to be fairly language independent?**
A: Yes, it's language independent once you got the general rules from the rules book. The card have one word for each action it allows, so a small cheat table shall suffice as clarification. I'm quite sure you will find on in the language you need at BGG.
