Make sure that if your are going to use the zip straps, replace them every season. They get brittle, and if you lose a silencer, you also probably lost an arrow/ maimed a deer. Tie it, with serving, then you won't have to worry about it.

These string silencers aren't bad. They hold up well. Whatever you do, don't use the plastic zip ties that come with them. Simply get some string serving material and use it to securely tie these onto your string.The zip ties in cooler temps become brittle and break...and before you know it - your silencers are missing.

The zip tie keeps breaking off .. This is on a crossbow and it just won’t stay on..

I have used these on several of my crossbows. Some string dampeners you have to split the cables and strings , this is risky. A few others do not stay in place. These are easy to put on and held into place by cable ties.

Make sure they’re tight. These work great have had them on my wicked ridge crossbow for years.

I would use these again easy to install and no digging in string required. Noise dampening is very good.

I ordered these from a recomendation at my archery club to replace the cat whiskers already installed. I don't notice any speed difference (my Hoyt is already as fast as all the Mathews I see) but they are as quiet or quieter and they are MUCH cleaner looking on the bow. Took seconds to install, overall they seem to be a very functional solution.

Very easy to install and also very effective noise dampening, on my compound bow. I will definitely purchase this product again!
