Got the opportunity to use it around the house locating a water heater leak in a dark area. It is sturdy with a very strong magnet, and the light at the tip is very bright and reaches far into cavities where another design would not. The strip beam with its round brightness control is really good and allows for precise brightness intensity without fixed steps. Overall feels like a strong durable tool but, only time will tell. It is not something you would want to throw around without regard to damage but I do intend to use it mainly for automotive repair work and think will perform that very well.I contacted the seller through Amazon.com and they replied that the unit has a 1 year warranty. which is appropriate because I wouldn' t have purchased it without any warranty.Glad I purchased it and would recommend it.

I am a powdercoater and mechanic and love the portable work lights.I have had the Astro, the Braun and about ten low end ones.My favorite is the Braun for its heavy duty housing and foldability but I needed one to keep in my truck as I enjoy being a 'Picker'. Now that winter is coming the days are getting shorter so it's dark in the early mornings.I charged this and had it in my truck. I had to check out some plywood before loading it to see if there were nails or staples in it. I love the way you can keep it dim or crank it up enough to light up the whole street.It is almost identical to the Astro and my Astro hanger broke off so I try not to use that feature but the magnetic base works perfect for placing on the back of my bed while loading.For the cost being 1/3 of the astro and half of the Braun, this will be purchased again in the future.Update: Just bought another one. These are really great lights.Well worth the cost.Brighter than any of my other lights.Can hang if there is no Ferris metal around.Magnet is more than strong enough to swivel the base without the magnet coming unattached till you need it to.

If you’re a professional mechanic or take ergonomics and efficiency seriously, these aren’t for you.The plastic knobs used to turn the lights on and off melt to the body when subject to strong solvents like brakleen, the magnets in the base can break and fall out, and the ball and socket mechanism used to adjust how the light “sits” on a surface break. Additionally the lights will flicker from full brightness occasionally and the micro USB charger should really be USB C or something more durable.However, these are 30 dollars shipped to your door (roughly). I have broken these and reassembled them so many times. I have used them to do motor swaps outside, transmission swaps outside, work on rusty old trucks, work on my race car in my shop, and they are still going after a year of heavy abuse.When the lights do work as adjusted (most of the time) they are very bright and the magnets do a great job of holding the light to steel surfaces. I even use these lights while welding.Will I go to something nicer when I get the cash? Absolutely. Not sure what’s out there— but a more reliable version of this would be great. However for the price, these lights are insane. Perfectly priced for their level of reliability and performance.

I had been looking at similar magnetic LED work lights from some of the major tool manufacturers. I just couldn't see myself that kind of money for a rechargeable LED work light. Then I noticed the two for one price on these ORHOMELIFE Rechargeable LED Work Lights, and decided to try them out. Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased. Not only is the color temperature easy on the eyes, the magnet for holding the light is very strong, and the light stays where I need it. Just the other day I was using one of my lights for several hours. I was sure the battery would probably die soon, but it just kept going even at a high brightness. Then I just plugged the USB charge cable into my car USB outlet and charged the light while driving home. These lights are simply a great value.

In the process of getting my workshop up and running. These lights are pretty cool and super bright at max setting. This will help greatly seeing while welding. The magnet is strong, I'm satisfied so far.

Good light, but battery life is crazy short. Seems like I am charging this one every day, compared to every 3 or 4 from my other lights.

This is some of the best light's that I have ever bought. very bright. well, made. easy to use.

works as advertised. i have other kind but doesn’t have the hook . this one has hook i like it
