Great knife
This is the best knife I've ever brought. I will be buying other to get the set. Well worth the money.

A good quality product.
I bought two of these to replace some cheap knives that I had bought previously from the supermarket.The cheap knives had fat blades (a couple of mm)that tended to pry apart vegetables such as carrots as you sliced them and also got blunt really quickly. These Sabatier knives feel well balanced and have nice sharp slim blade that can slice finely if required. The blade seems to stay sharp for quite a while.I would definately recommend spending a little more to buy a few of these instead of a block of cheap knives as it is false economy.

Good all-round kitchen knife
I'm neither a great cook nor a domestic goddess, so I don't want a dozen specialist knives for different purposes. I want one kitchen knife that does all jobs.This one fits the bill. I use it mostly for to cut vegetables for soups and salads, but it also works for other kitchen jobs. The blade is sharp and precise. The handle lies well in the hand, and the traditional riveted design looks good. I particularly like that the blade is pointed. Too many kitchen knives these days have rounded points which makes them useless for many jobs.I've used other kitchen knives before of different brands. I remember the Kitchen Devil knife was good, but I lost it when moving house. The others, whether cheap ones from the local pound shop or more expensive ones from fancy brands, didn't impress me.My mom used to have an all-purpose knife like this - probably not this brand, but a similar design, and it lasted her from her marriage in the nineteen fifties to retirement. I hope this knife will last a long time, too.

Don't!
Thin wobbly cheap blade makes chopping difficult and may result in injury. This Judge Sabatier is poor.
