This is absolutely perfect to make cold brew. The quality of the container is great. It is actually glass unlike a lot of the other ones and it’s easy to clean. The brew capacity is also great coming in at 2 quarts.

This is a really nice system. I had previously used the Ronco system which is identical to the Toddy cold brew system but cheaper. County Line Kitchen Cold Brew system is twice as efficient in terms of clean up and has the added bonus that I no longer need to buy replacement stoppers or filters! The drain time is less than half what I was used to with the Toddy system and it's clean! Simply pull out the wire filter and you're done. I was concerned that the mesh was going to be too wide to adequately filter smaller particles leaving a gross residue at the bottom of my cold brew. This is not the case. I found that the taste of my cold brew is just as pleasant as it was with the Toddy system and brews a clear, pleasant tasting coffee. Also notable is the sturdy jar that this system comes with. I have also used the Hario Water Brew Coffee Pot, 1000ml, Brown system that is built similarly to this one. (My quest for the perfect cold brew system has been extensive!) The County Line Kitchen system is simply better built. Hands down. The filter is a higher quality mesh and the thickness and overall quality of the glass jar is simply built stronger and is better able to take bumps and repeated use. Also notable is the care with which this system is packed. Amazon does a nice job packing it with plastic air pocket fillers but the company itself sent the system in a carefully wrapped box that ensured safe and intact delivery. I appreciate that! I am so impressed with this system I may donate my other ones and buy a second one of these! As far as I'm concerned my quest for the perfect cold brew system is complete!

It's a great product. Simple well built easy to use. I've only used it twice. First I tasted the coffe at different times. four hours, 6, 8, 12, 24. To see the difference that made. I didn't like any of it. In fact I couldn't drink it and threw it all out. Not the coffee makers fault. I just don't like cold brew. It even makes me feel sick. I drink decaf for the flavor of it. I like a deep rich coffe flavor. I like a medium rroast sweet coffe bean espresso. Cold bew just doesn't taste anything like that. Itt has its own taste wich is very mild and smooth or flavorless depending on your attitude. But it does extract more caffeine from the beans even my decaf beans made coffee to caffeinated for me. It also extracted some other stuff from the beans my espresso maker doesn't having a totally different effect on that Ididn't like. I recommend trying cold brew before getting into making it yourself but my coffee shop doesn't have decaf cold brew so I had to buy this to see for myself. If you like cold brew this is a great way to go. Aside from changing the time of the brew you can pla around with adding paper filters inside the metal filter or filtering the the coffee after its downe but I didn't mind the slight sludge on the bottom of my coffee cup. So the machine is simple easy to use works well easy to clean. Great if you like cold brew buts a completely different type of coffee.

Perfect, easy way to make cold brew at home! I have two jars to keep a steady supply of cold brew in the fridge in my busy household. About 10 generous scoops of coarse ground coffee (and about 12 hours in the fridge) will yield a pitcher of cold brew that is ready to use without diluting. Saves us a ton of money. And yes, I have used the more complicated methods/machines. This one is easier and far less fussy.

Does it make great cold brew coffee? Absolutely and a lot. I can easily get two days worth of cold brew coffee. This device is advertised as leak proof; however, it is not. I filled the carafe half full of soapy water and shook the carafe. The soapy water did leak from inside. Perhaps it wouldn’t leak if I didn’t shake the contents. The lid and handle are one piece. When the carafe is full it weighs more than 4.2 pounds. I’m not certain if the handle is strong enough to support that much weight especially if the handle becomes cracked. I intend to look for a metal lid to fit the Mason jar should the lid/handle breaks. Alternatively, I would consider replacing the lid/handle. The mason jar can become very slick when wet when washing. I suspect I will be needing to purchase some nitrile gloves or similar to maintain a good grip when washing the Mason jar. It seems the stainless steel filter is well made. Replacement parts are readily available for the filter, Mason jar, and handle.

I wish I had found this product a year ago! I had previously purchased another cold brew system and loved it. It was a wonderful system and worked well. The problem came when I accidentally bumped the glass carafe and it fell to the floor and shattered. That left me with the base that would require purchasing another carafe...which turned out to be about half the price of the original product. I wasn't happy, so I started to search while reading reviews. I found the Country LIne system and had a Eureka moment! This system would take longer than my old one but that didn't bother me. I'm retired...I have time. When I ordered the system, I ordered an extra handled cap because I had plans to purchase more bottles at my local supermarket...which I did. I currently have two bottles of cold brew in my fridge--one with regular coffee from my supermarket that I'm trying to use up and the other jar has a higher grade coffee in it. Here is where things got interesting. The first batch I brewed was the higher grade coffee. I knew how it should turn out based on my experience with my old system. The taste would be pretty smooth and flavorful. With the old system, the regular coffee came out bitter and just a tad on the nasty side. Not so with the Country LIne system. The regular coffee batch came out almost as smooth and flavorful as the higher grade coffee...makes me wonder why I need to pay extra for the higher grade coffee now. I brewed the first, higher grade, batch for a bit over 24 hours. I got busy later on when I did the regular coffee batch and it brewed in my fridge for at least 48 hours...if not longer. Both turned out great! Now as to cleanup... I was a bit concerned about getting the grounds out of the filter but I shouldn't have been. After I pull the filter from the "brewing" jar, I let it rest in an empty jar. Gravity brings the very last bit of liquid through the bottom of the filter. I get at least another 1/2 cup of cold brew by doing that. Once it's obvious that the dripping has stopped, I turn the filter upside down and the grounds fall right out! After that, it's really easy to wash the filter. The whole process was totally painfree! While I'm sad that I shattered the carafe on the other system, I'm very thankful to have found the Country Line system. It's amazing! I highly recommend it. The only regret I have is that I didn't find the Country LIne system FIRST!

This is perfect! After reading mixed reviews on other brewers, I decided to give this one a try and I love it. Nice thick glass pitcher and a heavy, solid handle/lid that doesn't leak and feels completely up to the task even when the pitcher is full. The strainer is a very fine mesh that keeps any grounds out of the coffee and I had no trouble cleaning it. It comes with completely understandable instructions but it's easy enough to use you won't even need them. Put the strainer in the jar, fill with coffee (the instructions say to leave an inch but I only filled the strainer to the water line), pour water over the grounds to fill the pitcher, put the lid on and stick it in the fridge. (I leave mine in for 48 hours to get the max coffee effect.) I use my reusable single-serving grab-and-go bottles and use the 64 oz pitcher to get another batch started. I use organic, coarse-ground coffee and the taste is fantastic, even my cold brew expert child couldn't believe it and ordered her own pitcher. Bonus: I know exactly what ingredients are in it.

Excellent item, I use this for cold brew and swap out the stainless steel lid for the lid with a handle (purchased separately) when it's ready to be served up.

If you aren't in a rush for a cold brew, this is an excellent option. I usually give it 48 hours before the coffee is strong enough. Extra large well made glass container. I like that the lid has a sturdy handle. If I had one complaint it would be that the flip top on the lid doesn't snap shut to prevent spills.

Bought this for work, very happy with it. Filter mesh is top quality, everything is easy to clean as well. Make sure you get a coarse ground coffee to work the best. I have since bought another for home.

Very easy to use, good quality materials like thick glass and a tight seal. I stored it on its side in the fridge to test the seal for camping and it held up. Makes delicious cold brew. Make sure to use coarse grind or you may end up with some very very fine coffee grounds in your coffee. I find 24 hrs makes the perfect brew. I would buy again.
