We smoke a lot of briskets and this paper helps it turn out juicy every time. When wrapping your brisket it’s easy some and can be done with our without assistance. The paper helps protect your meat from direct heat but helps retain moisture that your meat needs to be good. The color of the paper is average and doesn’t transfer to your food which helps for presentation. You get a lot of paper on the roll so you don’t run out soon. But I will be stocking up just to have a roll on deck. The paper wraps easy so it’s not a chore when you are smoking meats.

**Q: Would this paper be equally good at freezing fish fillets and steaks, or is it really just good for meat?**
A: The answer I would give is yes. I wrap our meat in the butcher paper first then put it in plastic bags for a bit of extra protection. I can put several paper wrapped packages in one plastic bag.

**Q: After wrapping with meat hugger freezer paper can i wrap it in the food saver vacuum sealing system**
A: I don't know why you would need to, but if you feel you have to, that's up to you. We either wrap ours in 2 layers of freezer paper or use the vacuum sealer.

**Q: Can this paper be heat sealed?**
A: Unfortunately, this product cannot be heat sealed. Heat seal requires a special poly-coat.

**Q: is it microwaveable ie. can I freeze enchiladas and then put in microwave?**
A: There is a coding of shinny on one side. I would not want to nuke it with my food. Great for the enchiladas but I would remove the paper before heating.

I use the pink paper to get my brisket through the stall or to rest any of my meat. This stuff is awesome and holds up. I rested my brisket in 170° oven for 10 hours in this paper with no issues.
