Can you charge this on a 220v outlet?

Yes the adapter is 110-220 50/60Hz. I don't know why people are saying no. Just bought this today and i can confirm it will work with 220V

does it hold the red dot sight

The Red Dot sight by Nerf is no good. Check eBay for any dot laser pointer with a 20mm rail mount... I found one for $15.89... Green Laser for mine and you can even see the beam at night.. uses a rechargeable battery but it mounts perfectly to the 20mm Nerf Rail system.

Will it shoot acorns?

Yes, it shoots acorns. We have oak trees in the front yard, and I unloaded all 50 rounds into the branches. A hailstorm of acorns came falling out of the trees. Didn't want to be one of them that day, I tell you what!

Why arent correct rechargable battery packs available for this gun?? It doesnt use the one shown in the "bought together" section.
