This is a quality journal for this price. It's study and held up well so far. The paper feels high-quality. And I like the calendar in the back, the two ribbon bookmarks, and the elastic strap to close it. My only minor gripe is that the cover material feels a little cheap. Not terrible, just noticeable less premium than some others that I've had. But this also costs like half the price or less than other more premium notebooks/journals, so I don't have any issue overlooking that. I think I'll probably buy a second one and continue using this brand/model as my go-to journal for some time.

I use journals like this for writing notes and this product is attractive, writing on the pages rarely bleeds through, catch pocket in the back...bonus blank year calendar in the back! I bought two and will more than likely buy this same type again when I need a new journal.

Love the feel of the outer cover and writing on the paper is smooth and ink dries quickly. In like that there are two page markers and a write-in calendar in the back. .

Have used similar notebooks for years. These are nice quality. I like the size. My only complaint is the UPC label on the cover. It should be on the back. When I removed it there was some adhesive left behind. I got it off with a bit of work but wouldn’t have to do that if the label was on the back.

Fountain pen friendly

This is a really nice notebook. The hardcover has a soft surface and is a good quality. The paper is a nice weight and I love the elastic to keep it closed as well as the two ribbon page markers. I've had other Eccolo notebooks and have loved them all. Great price for a great notebook.

The journal is a lovely color and great quality. Has a place to hold your pen and has 2 bookmarks. Pages are lined.

My younger daughter got two different journals for me at Christmas. This one (black) and one in a different style.I actually filled both of these up - which was a surprise to me, because I never do this. (It was a gift, gotta use it, right?)The other one was nice, but this one I loved and actually filled it up quickly. Now I'm ordering another one. I find that I'm finishing one in about 3 months. (When they say it contains 200 Pages of lined white paper, they are counting the front side and the back side of a sheet of paper as 2 pages. Okay, so, "DUH, it's a book" and I should have realized this, but I did not for some reason.)I love the size and weight of these journals.. I like the fact that they have a non-flexible cover and an elastic band to keep it closed. The pages are a nice thickness for me, but I use gel pens to write in these (I think a fountain pen would bleed through). The lines in this one are gray, so they are there without being too intrusive. I will definitely purchase one again.

This journal is way over priced. I have purchased journals from the same company Eccolo and they are made of leather and cost the same. The cover is like cardboard. I am very disappointed with this journal. Its more like a simple writing pad. There is nothing cool about it.
