Glass ( Crystal) Lenses!! Nice!
A magnifier with glass ( crystal) lenses are getting hard to find. These are nice ( my wife has already scampered off with two, she doesn't know I have 8 left. Planning!). Not a super heavy duty cover, but the price makes them a bargain. You can pay this price for a single one. They work well and the magnification is crisp and clear.

Easily makes "edc" status.
Great. CNC machinist, looking at details down to .001"-ish every day. Use a Japanese Peak 1961 Loupe, 10x and have been looking a pocket, "edc" (Lupe is tall, lacks cover). These fit the bill; ideal size. Bought 10x but not as strong as the Peak. For me, has strange focus, have to hold lens much further from part than I'm used to, which is fine in the end. Price is ridiculous and people at work were happy when I gave them one. (Who needs ten?) On edc side, they do not rattle at all but sound hollow against keys.

Great deal on decent magnifiers
These are a good value at the price offered. They are reasonably strong in magnification (see comments below). The cases are sturdy enough and perfectly sized for pocket carry, about 10 mm thick and 45 mm long when closed. Overall, this is a great deal for 10 good magnifiers. The description says they are 10x magnification power, but like most budget magnifiers, this seems overstated. On one unit, I roughly measured the focal length at 72 mm which I believe would indicate a total power of 4.4x. That is an appropriate and useful level of magnification for this type of pocket magnifier. A true 10x would not have a large enough field of view for common tasks like viewing small print to check expiration dates and package labeling. This glass is also strong enough to help visualize small details like a splinter. This is handy for folks who have reached a certain age (we know who we are) or to help with a science project for a group of kids, etc.

Convenient Little Magnifiers
These are great, small, convenient magnifiers that easily slip into a pocket for carrying around. They don't just "flop open," but don't require a mountain of force to open either. Great for really fine print or inspecting circuit boards.I dinged them one star because they arrived with dirty fingerprints all over the glass--I have to wash them before putting them into service. I don't like seeing fingerprints or smudges on optics.

Perfect. You will not be disappointed!
Good quality glass lens. Just the right magnification for most situations. The case has a couple of plastic burs which are easily removed. Super value! This is a great hand lens to hold in front of your phone camera when you want to take really closeup shots. Very easy to do.Make sure you clean the lens with a bit of Windex because they may arrive a bit smudged. Don't let that dissuade you though. You can't do better for the price.Incidentally, great idea to buy lots of these because your friends will all want one and chances are you will lose one or two yourself.

Great as a pocket carry for reading the fine print
hen I kept finding myself grabbing it to read a menu or the ingredients list while I was at the grocery store. This is very pocketable and convenient to use. It's about half as thick as some of the metal enclosed higher power loupes and much more practicable. So now I’m keeping it in my coin pocket all the time. Very handy. It’s a little bigger than I thought it was but still fits easily in my pocket. Plastic is of durable quality,Crystal clear lens

Cheap plastic, but convenient to have in pocket or purse
I needed something to keep.in a pocket and help with identifying plants when I am.out on a walk. Certainly light weight and it's so-so. The first one: plastic lens fell out of the plastic holder. Easy to stick it back in, but does not bode well for losing lens at some point. What can you expect for such a low price? So I plan to keep a couple of spares in various pockets (sort of like reader glasses!). The rest I plan to use as stocking stuffers for some older friends.

Too Small
The lens is one (1) inch in diameter. In every other way, they are perfect. Well made. Hard plastic cover. Good for reading the date on a coin. Not good for reading a menu. I would pay more if the diameter was 2 inches.
