This is exactly what you want if you have the flimsy plastic molded handle that falls off. This looks almost exactly the same as the shiny plastic one except it’s real metal — solid, stable and heavy.

Excellent replacement for an old, plastic Geberit set. This is very solid and attractive. No issues with the installation. The drain plug is much nicer, and covers the entire drain assembly (the old one was just big enough to cover the drain hole.) No leaks. Also this set won't have peeling chrome plating...ever!

The handle and drain plunger in the kit are metal and seem to be of good quality. After noticing the kit lacks the white connector/adaptor plastic piece that was on my old Geberit trim (despite the description saying the kit includes the connector!), I called customer service and confirmed that the connector is unnecessary when the handle is metal (as in this kit). I took off a star because of the misleading description and lack of explanation or instructions in the box. Also, because my old drain ring is gold and the kit only has the plunger, I inquired of customer service whether an oil rubbed bronze ring is available for purchase to replace it and was told it is not. However, the top cap of the new plunger is much larger than our old plunger and covers the gold ring completely when closed. So the mismatched ring is only (slightly) visible when the plunger is in the raised position.

The media could not be loaded. This doesn’t look good and it wasn’t what was supposed to be in the box.I changed it from one star because I was able to return it and the correct one was sent the second time.

Thank goodness I found this! I thought I'd have to completely redo the plumbing to get the bronze look to match the rest of our bathroom. Very high quality, strong product.

I got lucky.I was updating my bathroom fixtures to Oil Rubbed Bronze. The drain on the old Hesco tub,.circa 1987, had no brand markings though it looked like the Geberit. I was going through my files from when I built the house looking for something else and stumbled upon the installation instructions for the original drain and it turns out it was a Geberit. This one fits perfectly. The drain cover is over sized so that it covers the original chrome drain foot completely, eliminating the need to change that part out. Nice quality all metal construction. It's not a perfect color match against the new Moen Oil Rubbed Bronze Faucetts I installed but close enough to not be noticeable. The only down side is the price, a little steep for what it is.
