Fast, fun and wickedly addictive, Alucard's debut full-length "After Dark" is a 10 song tour de force of fast, expressive and emotional rock 'n roll. Drawing on influences as diverse as Soilwork and Bright Eyes, Alucard has managed to assemble a brand new sound that is suprisingly familar.

Coolest thing since peanut butter and jelly
My band played with these guys, and I wasn't sure what to expect. When they went on they absolutely blew my mind! It's not very often that I'll see a band live and buy their record, and even when I do, I'm usually disappointed. When I heard these guys I had to get this album, and was not one bit disappointed! This is definitely a relief from all the crap that is coming out these days...I'm not gonna point fingers (NFG among many others). I would definitely recommend this record. BUY IT! Here's a break down of the record:1) After Dark - pure rock and roll. They start out the album strong with a wicked fast metal tune. Prepare yourself for a mind-blowing guitar solo near the end of this one.2) Run to Extremes - This is more on the punk side. Really great guitar riffs. Their lead guitar player is really sumthin.3) Resignation Song - I think this is the best song on the album. It has a great melody and awesome lyrics.4) Peasants to Pawns - This is a heavier tune. I really like the heavy riffs in this one. I think the singing in the first verse is a little weak, but the strong chorus and rad guitar solo at the end make up for it.5) Pitchfork Revolution - Another great rock and roll song6) RC - Some really cool stuff happening in this song, but probably the most simple song on here.7) Summer's Coming - This one is an acoustic song. I find it kinda boring since it's in between so many rockin' songs, but it isn't too bad.8) There With You - Rock, rock and more rock. Really cool hammer riffs on the guitar (I'm a guitar player, can you tell?)9) Snapshot - This is another fast one. The chorus has a sweet melody10) The Month of Mars - They finish the record off with a bang with this one. Great stuffThis album offers something for everyone. Have I convinced you yet?
