Love it & you might not want to drain the liquid before adding the finishing sauce! A mistake that ended up Delish!!
Happen to 1st pick up a pack of this at a Wal-Mart going out of business. My boyfriend and I are big fans of Stubb's products so we gave this a try. SUPER easy instructions. The pack comes with 3 parts: Spice Rub, Cooking Sauce & Finishing Sauce. We used 1 1/2 lbs of chicken breast and used the slow cooker method. 1st you rub the chicken with the packet of seasoning. Drop the chicken in the slow cooker and pour the packet of cooking sauce over it, cover and wait. Then after the recommended cooking time they tell you to drain the liquid, shred the chicken then put back with the finishing sauce for an additional 30 minutes. WOW is this stuff GOOD!Problem is I can't find it in stores. Found a bottle of Stubb's Hatche Chili Sauce and tried it but wasn't the same. SO glad I found this on Amazon and bought a 4 pack at a decent price. One thing I did by accident is the last time I cooked this I went to put in the finishing sauce and forgot to drain the crockpot 1st. In a panic I started shredding the chicken while in the pot but didn't drain anything. Just hoped I didn't ruin it. Come to find out afterwards even though it was a little liquidy it tasted much stronger and better than when I had always drained it before the finishing sauce. For leftovers I fry it up in a cast iron til the liquid evaporates and it's so moist! My boyfriend is actually glad I messed up the instructions this last time and I will do that again!

Love Stuub’s hatch chili sauce
Wonderful flavor and easy dinner. Just toss in crock or instapot then finish when you get home. Family loved it. Problem is I can’t find it anymore. Hope it will be coming back on the shelves.

Tastes FANTASTIC and so easy!
This is so easy and SO GOOD! Not a goopy saucey process, clean tender tasty chicken results! Eat the shredded/finished chicken straight, up/alone, over rice, in a tortilla, with your breakfast eggs, etc. etc. I don't eat junk, or creamy sauces, so this was easy (crock pot) and tasty without the feeling I was eating 5 days worth of calories and fats. I then made it again for my family of health nuts and growing little children (with sensitive tongues) and they all loved it - not too hot/spicy, FLAVORFUL! Versatile! I can sometimes get this at our HEB grocery stores, but getting it for SURE and for less on Amazon was the way to go.

So yummy!!
We LOVE this stuff! We used to buy it at our grocery store but have not been able to find it lately. My daughter who normally does not like green chili, begs me to make this. I usually make it in the Instant Pot rather than crock pot and always use 3-4 point of chicken and there is plenty of sauce. There are always plenty of leftovers so some are frozen for an easy meal some night when life gets busy!

Easy and great flavor.
I had used Stubbs before and could no longer find in the stores. I have used it to cook pulled pork and make chicken tacos. Was impressed how easy and flavorful it was I am going to use it on beef next. I even gave my friend some to cook her own.

Yummy
Tacos made easy. They are good and easy to make. My husband loves them. I normally add half a can of beer to the cooking sauce and then after the chicken is done I take some out for my daughter before adding the finishing sauce. Because oh boy does that finishing sauce add a kick to the tacos.

The question; How spicy is it?
This is 2 packets of liquid and one spice packet the size of a sweetener packet.Good flavor thats hard to describe. Its not a chile verde flavor but rich with a hint of chile verde flavor. How spicy is it? If you are asking, its going to be on the spicy side.Funny, It’s so depending on who answers the question. If you asked the Hispanic guys that work for me they would say it’s not spicy at all. If you asked my sister she would say way too spicy. Its spicier than Taco Bell hot sauce…a liitle bit less than the TB Fire sauce. How salty is it? Again my hispanic guys would not think it’s too salty but for me that I barely sold anything only eggs and potatoes it’s pretty salty. Its about perfect as a layer on big chunks of chicken but too much of the liquid in the bite actually makes it less tasty to me.
