12in Drop Leaf Supp W/Safety Ring

This should be plug-n-play but it did take a bit of fiddling with to get it to work. It would have been nice for an example of placement measurements. However, it does exactly what I wanted it to and works great. Shipping was a pain, it was like it came from China.

These work great, but they were too long for my table edge. I should have mounted them about 3 to 4 inches lower on the leg. Otherwise, they work amazing, and the release latch is so great to have because you do not pinch your fingers! Excellent quality and very sturdy!

These turned out to be perfect for my needsI made a Cat Perch Shelf for my front window. But because I have a thru-the-wall A/C unit just below the window, the commercially available Cat Perches weren't useable (their Perch brackets would need to be braced against the interoir front louvers of the A/C unit). By making my own, I am able to straddle my A/C unit with the brackets. I used Drop Leaf Brackets because I need to get the Perch Shelf out of the way for routine A/C maintenance.

I used these to support a drop leaf counter at the end of an island. It's just the right thing, although the ring that is used to release it may get in the way of the leaf collapsing completely against the cabinet wall. The price was great.

They work great. I would suggest including installation specifications. I had to search to find specs to determine optimum mounting location.
