Quality longboard!
High quality longboard. Purchased this as my first board after not skating for over 10 years. The bamboo deck is flexible which allows for comfort and carving when riding, especially with the drop-through shape. The trucks are responsive and really let you get those nice, long, carves when you're gliding across the pavement. Wheels give a buttery ride that let you cruise over any rock, crack, manhole, or anything else that usually prevents you from enjoying a cruise. Although there's no kicktail, I was still able to pop the board and grab it whenever I stopped or needed to change directions. The clear grip tape will get dirty, so that will be something to consider if you want to buy this for the aesthetic. Overall, a great board for beginners, and I'm sure that more advanced riders will be able to really carve and push this board further than I have.

The deck has a nice flex to it and the trucks make it easy ...
No need to try any other boards after riding the Lookout. It does it all with style and comfort. The deck has a nice flex to it and the trucks make it easy to turn while providing stability when needed. Look at the thing! It's just begs to be ridden. This board is so much fun to push around on. With it's 74mm 78a wheels, it takes moderate bumps, pebbles and small sticks with ease. Where I live here in Ohio, long boarding isn't widely known. I only discovered it myself during a recent trip to Virginia Beach. My wife was the one who really wanted to try these after seeing all the people cruising the boardwalk and she's 55! So, I bought her the Mini Lookout from a local surf shop and, after a little practice, she's getting really good at it. So, I ordered a Lookout for myself and we have a cool new outdoor activity to do together. But everyone who sees this board loves it. I can see these gaining in popularity around here. It's funny to see the reactions of people who see us pushing around the neighborhood. Nobody else is doing it around here. I guess they're just too grown up. Too bad for them!

Heavy Usage and Still looks great!
Sector 9 Green Wave Lookout II Drop-Thru Bamboo Complete Downhill Longboard Skateboard - 9.6" x 42"I had never longboarded in my entire life and took the risk of buying one for college. This thing endured HEAVY usage, while getting a lot of bangs for every time I wiped out. Its been almost three years since and this board is still in one piece and works well. I would recommend after a while upgrading your bearings, trucks, or wheels, links below, for more longevity out of your board. Overall, very pleased with my investment. Had some great rides, and some great wipe outs. Lots of memories with this board.WheelsBigfoot Cored Classics Longboard Wheels Red, 83mmTrucksParis V2 150mm 50° Longboard Skateboard Trucks (Blk/Raw)BearingsBones Reds Precision Skate BearingsI am part of the amazon associates program

Nice board.
My 21 year old son is a fairly serious long board rider and he says it’s great. He’s about 5’6” and 140 lbs. He thinks it would probably handle a 175 lb. rider. Smooth ride.

Different deck than shown in photos
I bought this board to replace my original that is now 8 years old. I wanted to get the exact same board because it's one of the most fun I've ever ridden, carves really well, and is super easy to ride. The one I received however does not include the same deck. This new deck is longer, not as wide, and the graphic colors are completely different (more blue and brown instead of green). Most importantly, the new deck is more flexible, which makes it bounce more and turn less. What I liked about the Lookout II over the first Lookout was its slightly-stiffer deck, and this new Lookout II deck does not deliver. The black Gullwing Charger trucks and Sector 9 Nineball wheels are good though, and I might've still left a higher review if the board's shipping wasn't subpar. The box I received was too short to fit the deck, so it ended up poking through and getting scratched during shipping. It was also very wide, leaving the board loose in the box. This normally wouldn't matter for a skateboard, but I wanted to use this one as decoration until my original is unusable. But with the different deck shape, feel, colors, and scuffs I'm left disappointed and still in need of a proper replacement for my favorite board.

Smoothest cruising board I've ridden!
I absolutely love this board! I bought it with no prior knowledge of longboards, and I got super lucky! The bamboo deck acts like a shock system so I have a very smooth ride. The wheels are pretty large, which allows them to not get stuck on rocks. I've never been thrown off my board by a rock, and I've hit some pretty large gravel! The trucks are nice and wide for a decent turning radius. I cruise downtown with my friends and board to classes at college, and I love riding it! I have another board and I've ridden several of my friend's boards and I like mine best haha! It's so smooth riding! Definitely consider this if you are a beginner/ intermediate rider! Hope this helps you decide (graceandtruth's son)!

nice longboard
This is a pretty sick board, it looks cool and is very safe going downhill. It's good for cruzing but I would highly recommend swapping out the crappy bearings it comes with for reds or super reds. It's also pretty annoying that it doesn't have a tail so turning it with your foot is kind of a pain, and it's pretty heavy. Besides that stuff I am very happy with it, the bamboo and wheels absorb pretty much anything you can run over. I would give it three and a half stars if I could and would recommend it.

Great Board
I bought this board five years ago. I still ride it all the time. Its been a great board over the years. I mostly use it for cruising now, but I used to do a bit of down hill. It's great for both! I'm still using the wheels and bearings that came with it too. Ive ridden it in the rain several times and its still as smooth as ever. Great board no matter what the use is!
