18' Coolhaven Shade Sail Kit, Triangle - Sahara

I have several Coolaroo roller shades for my pool enclosure and lanai, and this is my second sail panel from them. First of all, the stainless hardware is meaty and very well made, and looks like new on the sail panel that has been up for a year. So does the panel. I ordered this one to more closely match the color on the roller shades. Coolaroo fabric is very strong, washes easily and looks great. It’s not an exact match to the shades, but close enough. You’ll be impressed at the size of the d rings and turnbuckles, and the welding on the attachment hooks is impressive. I don’t think you would find a better quality product in this price range. I’m very, very happy with the engineering and quality of Coolaroo, and I will stick to this brand very deliberately. There is so much misrepresented crap out there, it’s nice to see this Australian company produce something that is a pleasure to install and use. Seriously, and yeah, I’m repeating myself, but the hardware is exactly how I would make it if I was the engineer. look closely at the similarly priced sails- smaller d rings, much weaker stitching and width of connecting points at the triangle corners , etc. this is over engineered like stuff we used to get decades ago. I hate cheap crap that fails from poor construction and design- this was designed to last, and it’s obvious. And yeah, the price is surprisingly reasonable for this kind of design and execution.

Not as easy to figure out positioning but exactly what I need

Love this product! We purchased this one as an additional shade cover instead of using an umbrella over our patio table. Our existing one was purchased 8 years ago and looks as good today as the day we bought it. Love the 2 of them together.

It works great, this is my second one. (Update - A hole was noticed today 8/27/19) What can be done Cooleroo?

This shade sail is perfect!!!! It works perfectly and the hardware included was great! Looking forward to years of use!

This shade cost premium dollars and only lasted 5 months, over our pool, and the stitching in part of the hem came out and the support material broke.. Also had 2 places that the UV deteriorated and looks like more are developing.. I did not purchase this on Amazon so the warranty is null and void. WHY? Do they sell cheaper shades to un-authorized dealers for re-sale? The one I purchased has the official Cooloroo label on the underside. Really disgusted as I thought I was buying a top grade shade. The sun here in S. Arizona cannot be any stronger than in Australia, where their main headquarters is located. They give a 5 year warranty on this and advertise LIFETIME of use..Yea, whose lifetime? If the shade deteriorates, it's lifetime is done.
