Good value for what you get. Soldering iorn is up to the job and other accessories are useful. Shame about the lack of on/off switch. Otherwise can't complain. Recommended.

I am so impressed with this soldering kit, what you get for the price is simply amazing, and I question how they can offer it for this price and still make a living! I was going to pay nearly double this price for exactly the same soldering iron on it's own, let alone the added extras that also come with this kit. The case alone is worth the price, as it is so well made. So I wouldn't hesitate 110% to recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a complete package when it comes to simple electronics soldering.

Absolutely great for such a small price. I used the includee flux paste and all the items in the box and was able to solder a board for the first time after one of my computers had broke. There were no instructions however it was very easy to figure out. One problem is the standard for the soldering iron isn't very good as it loses balance very easily sending everything falling down. I'm also disappointed the light on the iron doesn't turn off when it's reached the desired temperature but apart from that the whole kit is great and worth it for the price

Amazing kit you have all that you need to some home repairs etc will recomend also came in a good sturdy bag to keep it well organised.

i fixed my christmas lights with this kit! its got everything i needed to get started and i managed to solve my problem quickly. i am not experienced in soldering, so i imagine this isn't the highest quality item that will be appropriate for every situation, but for basic stuff this was perfect

The soldering iron isn't very good, it doesn't seem to get hot enough to solder easily and the temperature adjuster seems to be more for decoration than use. The soldering iron stand is just plain useless, it keeps tipping over when you put the iron in it as it doesn't have enough weight. The plastic cover for the soldering iron would have been a good idea if it hadn't been for the fact when you put it on the soldering iron it is too big to fit in the case. If you have to wait for the iron to cool completely before putting it away, leave it in the stand (if you can get it to stay upright). The solder pump is pretty standard, no better or worse than most pumps. The case is nice, it seems well made and will keep your soldering parafenalia together ready for use. So if you only need it for occasional use, it's worth the money. If you need to use it on a daily basis buy a wella or antex iron with a decent stand instead

As a kit does what you need and if you are a beginner it would be mostly good to get you started. Usual problems with the iron holder being too light and not up to the job (I just stuck it down on my desk with some double sided tape. Would be better if it came with flux core solder rather than flux and solder
