Stainless Steel Measuring Cups Set - Stackable 6 Pieces By Superb Chefs.

My old plastic measuring cups needed to go by-by. I received the measuring cups ordered and I am happy. I like that the cups are one solid piece of stainless. I do wish they were polished on the inside like they are on the outside. I have yet to figure out the benefit of the brushed interior, except maybe to hide scratches?? The cups are not that thick, so they are not that heavy. A muscle man could bend the handle, but the average person will find them adequate. They designed these in a study fashion as not to break, and that is important. Each cup has 2 forms of measurement on the handle & the bonus measurement(s) variations inside the cup. I like the thumb indentation provided on the handle, as it helps steady the cup. I feel like I have better control. I also like the handle size. If the handle was longer, the set would take up more space. The pouring spout design is just ok. I thought I would use the cups mostly for measuring dry ingredients, but I am using them a bit for liquid measurements too. The extra little lip across from the handle is nice for helping to balance liquid in a cup and keeping it there until you make it to the bowl… The little lip also helps stacking and unstacking the cups. The cups stack well inside each other and the lip keeps each cup even. The edges of the cup are not rolled and could possibly cut a person if they are not polished down smoothly. I found a couple, ever so slightly rough areas on mine. Just check each cup carefully before using. Overall I like the cups and would recommend them.

I like that I don't have to worry about these measuring cups melting in the dishwasher! It's nice that these cups take up less space while being stored because they stack within one another. Also, I like the wide handles with an indentation for your thumb, and the size of the cup is both on the handle as well as one side. There is also another measurement indicated on the side of the cup as well if you wanted to use the same one for another size of measurement without getting another cup dirty. Because I'm right handed, I tend to hold the measuring cup in my right hand while I scoop something like flour, sugar, etc., however, if I am pouring a liquid into the measuring cup i.e. oil, milk, etc. then I tend to hold the measuring cup in my left while I pour into it with my right. Therefore, if I were to change something, it would be to move the pour spout on the cups to the other side from where they are now so that I could pour out from the cup with my left hand. But really it's not that big of a deal to change hands. Also, the edge around the top of the cups is a little sharp. I would have liked to have seen a smoother, more rounded finish.

My wife and I cook a lot and we are constantly using measuring cups like this. These are great. These are much better than what we have found in expensive cooking stores at a much better price point. The best part about them is that they don't tip over when you are using them, which most of the other brands do based on my experience. These have a large flat base and lightweight handle to keep them upright when you are using them, even when you bump them. The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is that the lip of the cups are rolled metal that are a bit sharp and I cut my finger cleaning them with a sponge. I resolved that by taking 5 minutes to rub the edges of the lip with a piece of 150 grit sandpaper.

They are very well made and the stainless steel is a nice sturdy quality. I also like how they nest into each other, which makes storage much easier, and how they have the measurement printed on both the handle and the inside with additional measurement levels also marked. My one complaint is that I would have preferred to be able to read the inside measurement from a forward facing view vs. in reverse (e.g. 3/4 reads 4\3 from inside the measuring cup). The reason I say this is because if you are using one of the additional measurement lines, you would be reading that measurement from the inside of the measuring cup in order to get an accurate reading and not from the outside since the measuring cup is not see through. This is the only reason for a 4 star rating.

I am a food blogger and cook ALL the time - so I need sturdy, reliable tools that I can count on to create my recipes. I absolutely LOVE these measuring cups. In fact, I love them so much, I bought two sets of them. Here's why I like them: (1) The short handles feel great in your hand, (2) they're stackable, so they save room in your drawers/cupboards, (3) they're easy to clean because each one is a seamless cup, and (4) you can see 1/2 measurements inside the cup, which I absolutely love. These, by far, are my favorite measuring cups in my drawer - and I have a lot of measuring cups! Please understand - I was not paid for this review - I genuinely love these, and I think you will too. I love them so much, I included them in my "Home Cook Holiday Gift Guide - 2016" post I wrote a week ago!

I gave up looking in stores for steel measuring cups to replace the set we destroyed over the past 30 yrs. Spent quite a bit of time on Amazon as well until I found these. I specifically wanted new ones that did not have the cup edges rolled and stamped like cheaper ones do. They're cleaner that way. These are well made and all edges are clean and smooth. The cup size is stamped on each handle, as well as the metric volume in milliliters. The handles are slotted for hanging. The stamped level line inside the cup for the next lowest volume, visible both inside and outside the cup, is a nice touch. And the cup itself is round at the bottom for whisking. Awesome. They nest perfectly and take up no space. Someone put some thought into these.
