Neewer Electronic AF Lens Mount Adapter Auto Focus Aperture Control Compatible with Nikon f Lens to Sony E-Mount Cameras for Sony A9M2/A9/A7R4/A7R3/A7R2/A7M3/A7M2/A6600/A6500/A6400/A6300/A6100

The directions for updating firmware are: "For adapter firmware update, connect the adapter to computer with USB cable and execute latest file download from official website." But I can't find any mention of this lens mount, or ANY adapter like this in the Neewer website?

I've used several Nikon F to Sony e-mount adapters including the Vitrol NF-E1 that this model is replacing. The autofocusing feature on my Sigma 50mm f/1.4 is extremely fast and accurate, however the camera regularly says there is no lens mounted. I was a little disappointed since this Sigma lens is listed as one of the supported lenses.On my Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens the autofocusing is very slow and often don't work at all and again the camera throws an error complaining that there is no lens. But on my favorite Samyang 85mm f/1.4 lens, the adapter work very well. It's a manual focus lens but this adapter detects it and sends electronic information. The biggest improvement with this lens adapter is that it does not cause lens flaring which I see in my other adapters. On my Tamron 70-300mm lens, once again the autofocusing is slow but work most of the time. Since none of these lenses are listed as supported I am not surprised I have issues.Overall I expected some quirks and I got them but it work well enough. However, I am really happy that it work well for my favorite go to lens, my Samyang 85mm lens which takes pictures like a dream now on my Sony A7R III.

It worked okay for me

I have my Sony A7ii paired my with Nikon 200-500mm lens and have totally forgotten that they aren't meant to go together. That being said; there are times where I have been frustrated that I couldn't get a shot in focus, but the focus ring on my lens quickly fixes that issue. I'm not a pro, so it's fine for me, but I wouldn't recommend it to a pro. I really like it. I've lost count of how many Neewer products I have.

updated sony firmware, neewer adapter as required. It does trade data and run the aperture on the nikon af lense 80-200 mm, but it does not autofocus at all. It shoots on manual focus. Big, major, disappointment. Yes, it connects the lens to the body but for a sports camera you need autofocus.

Image stabilization and /or auto focus not available on all lenses. Works great otherwise.

I just switched to the Sony ecosystem from Nikon and the gmaster lenses are so expensive. I thought I should give this a go but it doesn’t work. It will lock up my a7riv and the image quality is a huge step down from the native Sony lenses. I own a Tamron 70-200 2.8 G lens and it is hunting or locks up the camera. Unless you do a lot of stills with no moving subjects and you are ok with hunting and a locked up camera, this is not then adapter for you. You might as well buy an adapter that is $30 without the af feature and shoot on manual.

Has changed my entire thinking about using Sony with my Nikon Lenses. It worked with both Nikon and thenNikon/Sigma as well as my Tamron for Nikon 70-200 all worked perfectly. Im amazed.It was a bit tight with my 85 1.8 Nikon but otherwise fit wellHIghly recommend

Ottimo adattatore, veramente efficiente.Ho ordinato due volte questo adattatore. Il primo, usato come nuovo, non funzionava nella parte elettronica, l'ho quindi restituito e ne ho acquistato uno nuovo che invece funziona perfettamente..L'adattatore è ben costruito, in metallo, e le connessioni corpo/obiettivo sono molto precise e senza gioco.L'interno è molto ben verniciato in nero opaco e non si verificano effetti dovuti ai riflessi interni sulle immagini prodotte.La messa a fuoco è veramente rapida, al di là delle attese, con un veloce aggiustamento finale passo passo al punto preciso. Non bisogna aspettarsi la velocità reale degli obiettivi su corpi Nikon - è pur sempre un adattatore - ma sono rimasto piuttosto sorpreso. Quando la luce cala, la velocità diminuisce un po'.ATTENZIONE: la messa a fuoco automatica è possibile solo con obiettivi AF-s e AF-i con motore interno; non è possibile invece con i più datati AF e AF-D. La fotocamera dev'essere inoltre impostata su AF a rilevamento di CONTRASTO; l'AF a rilevamento di FASE invece NON permette la corretta messa a fuoco.La trasmissione dei dati Exif è totale e consente la regolazione del diaframma dal selettore anteriore sull'impugnatura della fotocamera..L'adattatore è stato da me testato su Sony A7RII con obiettivi Nikkor AF-s 17-35/2,8 e AF-s 80-200/2,8, entrambi senza VR, con i quali ha funzionato egregiamente. Non sono in grado per questo motivo, di testimoniare del funzionamento dell'adattatore nella trasmissione del VR stesso..Come utilizzatore di un corpo macchina Sony e avendo alcuni obiettivi AF-s Nikkor a disposizione, mi ritengo ampiamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto: la possibilità di recuperare pienamente obiettivi importanti con una spesa decisamente esigua rispetto al loro valore, è certamente molto interessante. Ne consiglio quindi vivamente l'acquisto..La consegna è stata come al solito puntuale e rapidissima in entrambe le spedizioni, nulla da eccepire, come nel riaccredito dell'importo del reso, veramente immediato, quando ho restituito il primo difettoso, che mi ha consentito di procedere immediatamente all'acquisto del secondo nuovo.

acquistato per utilizzare Zoom Tamron Tamron SP AF 150 - 600mm F/5 - 6.3 per Nikon con mirrorles Sony A7. La MF funziona malissimo e VR non funziona a causa difficoltà di comunicazione tra Sony e Tamron.

Para elPrecio que tiene está muy bien, tiene pequeño desajuste bayoneta pero no se puede pedir más. A veces se queda bloqueado
