I almost did not buy this product because I saw all the negative reviews, but went ahead and did because buying sumo suits for my 11 year old son's bday party was over $1,000!!!These things are tough!!! We had boys from 8 yrs to 13 years (and even a couple of 40 year old boys) in them. They used them in the trampoline, they used them on the slip and slide, they used them to do flips into the pool (all which are probably not advised activities from the company itself :p ). The dads were catapulting kids down the slip and slide in them, swinging them around and around and them launching them across the yard! One of the dad's who has to be about 210 lbs was wearing it like a diaper and doing flips into the pool, and he wouldn't even dip into the water!Maybe the reason it worked for us and not the other folks, is that maybe we didn't fill the compartments up to maximum capacity...I don't know. But these things lasted for our 4 hour party, with constant abuse, and even lasted for several more days.

I gave it as a Christmas present to my nephews. I too thought there would be two. Hard to share this toy between the two of them and can't play alone so I am buying another one although I did't plan on spending that much.Glad to see I wasn't the only one.

I ordered these for my grandson and he was being excited! The box says ages 6 and up but he’s barely 5 and definitely old and big enough to play with these. They’re very durable but would take a long time to blow up with a bicycle pump. Find someone with an air compressor and the job is done in a flash! As a side note, I expected a box of two because that’s what the website states. The box contained one. I called Amazon and they sent another out at no charge.

This appears to be such a fun thing to order for kids. My daughter (13yr old) spent her own money to order for a friends birthday. This product appears to be a "buddy" toy. Meaning there are 2! She and I and her friend were VERY DISAPPOINTED that after shipping she spent $50 of her own money only to get the product and not be able to use it because there is only one in the box!Needless to say she refused to let me return it. She is a kid and wants to have 2 to play and have fun with. I am not going to force her to return the product.I read the description 3-4 times just to verify that there were 2. The description didn't say either way. But the pic shows 2 and the product name is Buddy.Definately think the description should clarify this. Very expensive to be so disappointed.Very cool product - misleading description.

Admittedly, I did not do enough research. I thought when I purchased this product I was getting two balls even though the title is "buddy bounce play ball." The singular "ball" didn't grab my attention so much as "buddy" did with the picture of two kids. That along with the price was enough for me to think there were two. My mistake. So... I've ordered another. I can't review the usage yet since one ball is too lame for two kids to play with. I gave two stars for the outrageous price for one plastic ball but the concept seems fun. Maybe I'll update my review after the kids actually get to try it.

I purchased this for my nephews (5 and 6 years old). It took awhile to blow them up, even with an electric air pump. But it was worth the wait! I think the key is to not over fill them; you can always add more air. There are four openings to the balls: one on top, one on each side, and one larger hole at the bottom for easier moving.Pros:Perfect size for my 5 and 6 year old nephewsCons:Takes a while to blow up

I bought three of these for our daughters and their friends (boys and girls ages 6-10). Shipping was fast, and the balls have held up well so far. I can't speak for how well they would hold up with bigger kids, but our kids love them. They get a good running start, bump into each other, fall, laugh, repeat. Some of the boys have tried wrestling moves in them, which is not a good idea since they collapse inward under the weight, though there is still room for the kids to move inside when that happens. A word of advice: keep a close eye on the kids when they are playing with these. Kids will be kids, and some seem to think that the bubble makes them invincible.
