Quality
Great quality as expected, with more pages than the equivalent from black and red, and usefully cheaper than their 'black series' too. The moleskin is instantly recognisable and portable and durable, the paper is thick enough to stop ink bleeding through and the cover seems impervious to marks or damage. I prefer this A4 size to the smaller pocket-sized series, this fits easily into a small laptop bag and is usefully thinner than the smaller equivalents. The lines on the page are slightly too narrow for my taste, and as you get to then end of the book the pocket inside the back cover can distort the writing surface meaning wonky titles on the page - it's like leaning on an uneven surface. I would prefer without the rear pocket myself. In summary though, it looks and feels good, presents the right image in the boardroom and will last for many years. Highly recommended.

Good notebooks, if you like a little luxury
If you like your notebooks just a little different from everyone else, these are good. Some would say they are expensive, and they are, but amazon make them just about worth it with their competitive pricing. Both the hard cover and the pages have their corners trimmed into a nice soft curve, so you won't banjax yourself on a sharp corner. The paper is a soft yellow colour, and the lines are faint grey and fairly narrow. Also, a small paper pocket is in the back cover.nice, expensive, but a good treat if you like that sort of thing!

Top quality
I would never have bought a Moleskine notebook, given the price. You can get a notebook from Tesco for a fraction of the price. However, having been given a smaller Moleskine notebook, I'm a convert. The paper is beautiful to write on - the pen just flows smoothly - and it's heavy enough that there's no blotting or showing through. The stitched bindings mean it doesn't peel out (but also means that you can't tear out pages easily) and the firm cover stops it getting squashed. I am in love with Moleskine's large books.

Great quality (as ever) but also a little pricey
I have been using the smaller Moleskine notebooks for years - I got my first one as a gift too long ago to remember! This one is great - a proper hardback, A4, lined paper notebook. The paper is good and smooth, and takes fountain pen, felt-tip and biro without any 'bleed through' to the next page. I always feel that they are a little on the expensive side - but then I take out a notebook from many years ago and see that the paper isn't yellowed with age, that the lines I drew and wrote are still crystal clear and think, well, maybe not?

Moleskine What else is there to say?
These notebooks are special, after all they are a bit pricey. They are however worth it! The feel of a notebook of substance in your hand when your writing is one that a computer will never replace. I used to be afraid to write in mine until I had something really worth writing down. That's all changed as I have many different sizes and they are all in use! Love Love Love them!

the elastic strap is useful to keep it close when not in use
The notebook is exactly as advertised. It has an attractive moleskin cover. As I wished for a notebook to last for a long time as I wish to use it as a meeting minute book this is exactly what I wanted. the elastic strap is useful to keep it close when not in use. I am very pleased with the notebook.

Love these
There are imitations but don't bother. These are great. I use them for work notebooks - good for leaning on (hardback), good for marking page (ribbon), good for any pen (thick paper). Fit with my MacBook in my bag, perfect. More colours would be nice, this looks a little conservative, but that's ok.

Great
I love Moleskine's and I have one of these big A4 ones for each of my courses, they make you look and feel super organised. It's narrow ruled, so if you have small writing, it's great, the paper is also really smooth and ink doesn't bleed through. It's also feels really sturdy. Get one! Or two... Maybe three.
