great product. very time consuming for application do not try to hurry this project or you will ruin the material

I did my ugly laminate countertops with this, as a temporary solution until we replace them someday. It was kind of difficult to install alone (as expected), but it looked great. It looks like real stone countertops and is smooth and easy to clean. The difficulty was only because of how sticky it is, which is a good thing, but it can be repositioned. Fast forward a few months: corners are peeling up and cannot stick back down. I spent a lot of money on this stuff, so pretty upsetting cause it did look really good and thought it was a good solution for the time being.

The product is not film like it is sheets that are easy to unroll and cut and install. The mat slate is not mat, it's very shiny. I may try some cleanser powder to dull the shine. After all dull is easy to achieve, you might prefer a super smooth surface. It is wise to watch some videos of installation before attempting. I used the wet method. Do not rush the cutting or you'll cut off too much and you'll have to patch. I had loose seams in my original 1950's laminate counter and this adhered so tightly that the old seams' contours showed through the installed sheets so get your old surface smooth before installing. Overall very true to the advertising. Definitely round up good quality tools for the job before you begin.

Seems like a good product. Thick and seems good quality. Just installed so time will tell.

The media could not be loaded.  Loved the wide size and product held up well to minor heat. Recommend a lighter color as white scratches from minor use are very visible. Less than 10 months after installing we needed to remove it. Unfortunately only the vinyl came up with great difficulty and 100% of the adhesive remained on the counter. It is very hard to pull this off the counter! Heat gun attempted with same results. Hours of scraping with goo gone and plastic spatula was required to remove the sticky residue. Only use this if you want a permanent surface. I have actually had easier removal of permanent contact paper by duck brand on laminate countertops. Would not wish this clean up on my worst enemy.

I love the fact that the adhesive is strong. I made an enclosed cabinet for my washer and dryer and use this on plywood for countertop.

Product is very pretty but you need to be able to actually use your counter. Product NOT durable at all. Bubbles everywhere and almost Impossible to apply without using smaller pieces then you have seams.I am very disappointed.
