Calpico Concentrate Beverage, 15.9 Fluid Ounce

I absolutely love Calpis/Calpico soda, but I can’t buy it at retail anywhere near my house, and it’s usually pretty expensive when you can find it, since it’s a niche market product. It’s so much cheaper to buy the concentrate, then mix with carbonated water or seltzer. I can’t get enough of this stuff! If you’ve never had it, it sort of tastes like plain yogurt with sugar and a tiny bit of citrus flavor. It probably doesn’t sound very appealing based on that description, but I think it’s delicious. I’m not as much a fan of the non-carbonated version, but I won’t turn it away if it’s available.

I loved this product since I was a child and it was always my favorite treat when I was back home. This is the only product in their line that follows the original recipe so enjoy it while you can!The proportions can be adjusted accordingly to taste, I usually use a bit less than the recommended amount but that is a preference thing as I an trying to match the taste form the ones I used to get from the vending machines. If you have a soda stream you can add this to carbonated water to recreate the soda version.

I have loved calpico since I was born. All my family drinks now. So I know the quality and trusted company. But this time, was unorganized of the seller? Shipping took a long. I’ll buy another place next time.

I tried this the moment I got it in the mail- judging by these other reviews, I think this seriously might be spoiled. The smell is enough to make you gag and the taste is nothing like actual calpis/calpico. There is something wrong with the concentrate that you can get off of Amazon.

Loved this. Reminded me of my childhood. I was so happy to find this because the stores around me do not carry the concentrated version.

The diluted drink is nothing like the original Calpico; somehow it has a weird alcohol flavor.

Showed up within expiration date and flavor was good as previous times. Did not have any of the issues other reviewers seem to have. Might just be luck.

I used to have this drink many decades ago when I was a child growing up in Japan. Tasted just like the original.
