I love everything about this system. One of the LL boxes doesn’t stay shut. Think it should be tested or triple checked before being packaged and shipped.

I would have rated a 5 because small boxes are great! However, the storage container needs to be redesigned. When you open the storage box, all of the small boxes move around or can fall out because there is no way to hold them in securely while the lid is open. Also, the handle is too close to the box. I scrape my knuckles when I set it down because the handle is too close to the box to allow for freedom of movement. Also, the box in the center (underneath handle) does not close well and bulges slightly. Another reason for the scraped knuckles.

A long time ago my chain maille teacher recommended this storage system for all the jump rings I was using, I tried it and it worked well. So when I started working with size 11 seed beads I decided to use the same boxes. They're still as good as they were when I last bought them - the quality hasn't gone down. Everything closes securely and fits well into the outer box and very little space is wasted. The lids of the smallest boxes can be a bit of a challenge but I'd rather have them snug than loose. If you're having trouble opening the boxes, slide your thumb under the lip of the lid while you press gently inward on the body of the box: the lid pops up easily. The smallest boxes don't have the room to do this but I love them anyway. The only (and I mean *only*) change I would make for storing beads is to make the plastic transparent rather than translucent.

This item works great for holding all the little rings I use to make my chain maille jewelry with. The smaller one I bought first has now been transitioned to findings and clasps. But still, it is great. Love it and will buy more as I need them.
