Do any of these Maker books actually teach you how to MAKE stuff, or just how to talk about it?
Not at all what I was expecting, given the description. If you are at a *very* basic level and need to learn what an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and various handy bits of software used by many Makers are... this is the book for you. The same information could be had with about 30 minutes of detective work in Google and reading a few websites.Likewise, it seemed like at least half the book reads like a manual on workflow at a factory... complete with some of the corporate-speak those of us who have worked in manufacturing get really tired of hearing.Honestly, I was looking for a book that gave detailed information on processes for making things - How to work with plastics, wood, soft metals... casting plastic and non-ferrous metals, how to make something look nice and professional with good control panels, layouts, decals or silk screening, etc. I've been trying to find this information in some of these "Maker's" books... but it seems 99% of them just want to talk about workflow and project management like some sort of new-management meeting retreat, rather than actually teaching anybody how to actually "make" anything.Very disappointed. I'm sure it will help some people out there, but it's nothing like I expected it to be and teaches me very little of actual practical use.

Perfect
Fast delivery and I am delighted with the book. It has everything I wanted to know from history, developing your idea, developing your business with financing ideas, and then the technology... concisely written with no fluff, easy to read, and all within a relatively short book. Perfect.

Awesome book, it brings a variety of topics under one roof with current info, finally! I personally rather read a book than webpages, also I know I can trust this source.
