I've had this belt for about a year and a half, and I'm just as pleased with it now as I was when it first arrived.My biggest worry was that the clasping mechanism would fail or wear down over time, but I'm very pleased to announce that it has not.It is comfortable to wear for many hours as the low profile of the "buckle" helps prevent chaffing on your belly while sitting.Considering its comfortable, stylish and well made it is, its a good deal. I cant go buy any belt for nearly this price at a department store.

It looks great, not expensive, and most important of all it's basically impossible to get the wrong size. Get sized UP and then trim it DOWN to the perfect size when you get it and test fit it. Just don't cut it too short obviously, cut it a little at a time until it's perfect.The ratchet is super easy and I really like that it doesn't use holes. I don't deform the belt like others because with this belt you don't have to pull on the leather at an angle whenever putting on or taking off the belt. That's how my older belts would wear out from always pulling tight on the belt to unbuckle the holes in the leather, that would cause the belt material to separate after awhile. That will never happen with this belt.These should last a very long time and they look great and the buckles are interchangeable with others from this manufacturer.

This is a genuine leather belt. The ratcheting action works great. Does not slip and affords a much more finite control of the size. I bought two (one brown and one black). I chose a fairly plain buckle but the belt is offered with a nice variety of buckles. You must attach the buckle but it is easy enough. Also you may need to cut the belt down a bit first.

I was surprised at the quality of this belt. I use it for my Police dress uniform as well as my regular slacks. I was so happy with this belt that I recommended it to my brothers who are also PD. Buckles wear out, break and discolor, not a problem with this belt, get on fast, get out fast. I have had one of these belts for a year and a half. I love that it adjusts right where I need it without having to worry about holes and even adding holes to the belt. I just bought a second one. Just be sure you get a belt about 5 inches longer than your waist (I had to send one back because it didn't have anything left over).

You can but the belt to make it shorter so it is easy to make it the right length. It took me a day to figure out the buckle mechanism but once I did, I really like it. Good looking belt. I bought another.

I've already purchased two of these ratchet belts and just love them. I waited a bit to review to make sure they didn't fall apart. I use them every day and still clicking and holding strong! It took a bit to get used to how they release. I was in a panic at first because I couldn't get the belt off, LOL. But if you just push the belt slightly while pressing the release it's pretty easy.

I'll be candid: when I opened up the package and saw that I would need to do some assembly, I was a little upset. The product description didn't make that clear.Nevertheless, it's a simple process. The interior lining tells you were to cut based on your waist size. Grab a pair of scissors to snip off the length at the right place, slide on the wide end of the belt into the buckle, pull in the clasp to lock in in place, and you're good to go.It looks fairly stylish, and it's very practical in getting that perfect fit. Most belts only give you the option of adjustment in one-inch increments. This thing gives you the ability to lock in the perfect fit, and it feels very secure. It's always important to keep those pants up! :)To unlock the belt, pull out the trigger at the bottom of the buckle, and slide it out.

Easy to cut to proper length. Fits well. Holds my Pants up!!
