If you are doing this job too, the 4oz tube is plenty and you will have some leftover for general upkeep and maintenance. Compared to regular plumber’s grease in pure silicone, this is not as slick and will leave slippery residue all over everything it touches. It’s a bit thicker and easier to manage for larger O-rings and pool parts. After putting everything back together, it took a day for everything to settle down and stay sealed without leaks.
