Do the job, but can be difficult
I do like these because you can hang something tight to the wall. What I don't like is if you don't have the center of the two pieces lined up EXACTLY right to interlock with each other, they will not slide together. I used two of these to hang a headboard on the wall. I had to make sure that they were perfectly in line with each other to link together, they were placed so that the headboard is level, and they were placed so that the headboard was in the right place left to right.I hung a bench back using just one and it was much easier since I didn't have to worry about getting two to line up perfectly. These definitely do the job, but I'm thinking the other types that are a single lip all the way across that do not 'interlock' would be easier to use. I will buy more of these because of how inexpensive they are, but will probably only use them when only one is required.

Exactly As Described.
These are as described. I want to secure a bed headboard to the wall. A friend who did this for his mom recommended this for that purpose. Said it works great. And I think on a wood based headboard it would. Mine is metal. And not doable. I've come up with a different idea to accomplish my goal. But I have a large mirror these will work great with. The Con: the screws that come with are fairly short and think longer ones would work better if item is heavy. Also would need screws that anchor in drywall. The supplied screws are not appropriate I think.

Worked like a charm!
I didn't know how well these would work considering I've never worked with them before. I had to install a headboard (~10-15 lbs) and these came up in my search, so I gave them a shot. No regrets and the installation was fairly simple. The hardest part was accurately measuring the spacing in between, which is understandable. If I did have one complaint, it would be that the screws that were included were a bit short. I swapped them out for longer screws with a flat head.

Great Find!
I loved the way these worked! I had a headboard that I wanted to mount to the wall, but I did not want to expose any hardware, and I did not want a bunch of holes in my wall. This was a great find because it not only worked great, but did not show behind the headboard. One of the pieces attaches to the wall, and the other attaches to the headboard. I need to buy two of these products- one for each side of the headboard. My headboard was solid wood, and these held up great under the weight. I would recommend putting in sinkers into the wall before you use screws. 8 total holes, and no showing hardware = beautiful headboard!

4 stars for customer service
I purchased this item to install a head board and it was not what I had hoped for, my headboard is for a queen sized bed and it is upholstered.I was unable to use this item successfully, customers service noted my review and contact me for a full refund on the item, they were prompt and very helpful. I would recommend this item only for small items for larger items something strong with longer screws would be best, if the item is larger it should not be heavy.

Good for me
The flush mounts are just what I needed to hang my custom made headboard. The quality of the steel is excellent. My only complaint is that the item on the actual Selby website, woodworkers.com, is $4 less per pair. Why such a huge markup on something that you could ship in a regular envelope for around $1? Anyways, since I couldn't find them at home depot the marked up item got my money.

Works for me!
I couldn't find any flushmounts any where else. Not even in Home depot. These were the only ones I found online that weren't supper expensive. (Even though the shipping price is marked up on this)Used 2 sets of these mounts to mount an Ikea mirror, the really big one on a wall horizontally. I may one day take a picture and post it here. But not today.. Not. Today. It worked very well and is pretty straight forward. There is literally no gap what so ever, its entirely flush with the wall.Edit: Posted up some pictures of the mirror on the wall using these flush mounts. Check them out!

Best Quality and Best Price!!!!!
I bought the exact same design from three different suppliers... these are the real deal. These are excellent quality stampings made from 16 gage steel (.058 inch thick) using very good tooling on a quality press. The fit is tight. Came with screws that settle completely inside the countersink holes, but the screws are short. The other two suppliers didn't include screws. Very highly recommended by a guy who ran a sheet metal shop... buy these!
