Loaf of soap in the picture above was made this way. Makes a 1 lb. loaf .We cannot ship sodium hydroxide (lye) via U.S.P.S. and this is the most cost effective way to ship. Therefore, you will need to buy 2.5 ounces of lye, which can be found at your local hardware store in the plumbing department. You'll also need a small bucket, stainless steel pot or oversized Pyrex cup to mix the soap in. Other items would be small things such as a kitchen scale, candy or meat thermometer, rubber gloves, goggles for eye protection, stir spoon or spatula.

Over priced and not a full kit to make soap. Minus Lye. Misleading and supplies maybe Cost $5 or less.
