Commonly used as a thickener in beauty and bath products and also as a replacement for talc in cosmetic and skin care formulations. Many blend this powder with corn starch and kaolin white clay. Arrowroot powder will impart a silky texture to your product. May be used in bath products to give the water a silky feel as well. I use this product to make homemade make up and it is great! This product takes the place of Talc, and soaks up all oil and leaves me with a matte finish all day. I also use it in my homemade deodorant and again, it keeps my dry. It has also lasted a good amount of time so I will definitely be ordering again.

This is a good value and a must for gluten free cooking when you need to thicken a sauce. It is superior to corn starch in that it doesn't change to gelatin. Use sparingly. Dissolve 1 teaspoon in a small bowl with a little liquid (use a small wisk) and add to cooking pot at nearly the end of cooking, stirring constantly until you have the thickness desired. If the sauce doesn't thicken enough, repeat with more arrowroot dissolved in small quantity of liquid.

Doesn’t seem legit
I’ve had a number of arrowroot powder before and I know the quality of this is nothing compared to them. This smelled like italian herbs and spices, and because I use this like baby powder this did not appeal to me. I’ve purchased other arrowroot on amazon that was better packaged and didnt have “other” smells to it.
