they work fine
Used them to cover the posts on a lifepo 4 build to help mitigate accidental shorting. Very happy with these. I wish the plastic was a touch more rigid instead of "soft" but aside from that they work well

CRACK AND FALL APART! USE STEEL/ALUMINUM NUTS FOR LICENSE PLATE!
DON'T BOTHER and BUY STAINLESS STEEL or ALUMINUM NUTS RIGHT AWAY (for affixing license plate).Nice idea but unfortunately doesn't work in practice. At least, not for license plate application. Bought those nuts and was about to replace steel nuts on license plate bracket. I used 8 out of 10 (although only 4 needed) of these plastic nuts with different torque, going from using socket to manual torquing by hand(!). Unfortunately, in all cases these things, all 8 nuts, cracked and fell apart. See picture. I gave up and put original (rusted) nuts back on.
