Love this so much! It's perfect.
We do a lot of keto meals in this house and I had heard about the wonders of the chaffle and wanted to try it. However, we have a family of 7 and one tiny single waffle maker wasn't going to cut it. Ordered this 4 mini waffle maker and started churning our delicious chaffles almost every day after it arrived because they are so yummy and the flavor possibilities are endless! They are slider size. Perfect for sandwich making. The kids go crazy for them! I can whip up 20 homemade waffles from start to finish in about 20 minutes! Super fast and easy. It heats up fast and the indicator light turns green to let you know it's ready. Great easy to wipe clean nonstick surface. I've been spraying with avocado oil just to be sure. Not one waffle has stuck or broken yet. They are perfect every time. I've been using a mini ice cream scoop to measure out the right amount per waffle. It's also but too bulky of a machine and doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen. Highly recommend for medium to large families. And it's a must have if you are a chaffle lover!

Great for Chaffles!!
When I first started seeing mini-waffle makers on the market, I thought people were crazy for making such a small waffle for themselves. I mean really, who wants to eat a smaller waffle? However, as I got deeper into Keto eating, I learned of this thing called "chaffles" and was soon seeing pictures of many people enjoying chaffle sandwiches made by using a mini waffle iron. Intrigued, I read peoples comments, recipes, and drooled over their pictures enough to decide to get one for myself. I was all set and ready to purchase my own mini waffle iron when I stumbled upon a review that mentioned this machine. I then decided to do some digging and research to see what was out there, and if indeed it would be better to purchase a machine that made more than one mini waffle at a time.Enter the Burgess Brothers ChurWaffle Maker!! There were many Keto eaters who recommended this product, especially those who made large batches of chaffles to have on hand for a week of eating. I decided to give this one a go based on all those recommendations. Now, the company does not market this product as great for chaffles, it is instead intended for corn bread like churro waffles. As such, it is intended for a thicker batter. The wells for the chaffles are nice and deep and remind me of an iron skillet more than a waffle maker. My first batch of chaffles was made actually using almond flour, water, mayo, and egg. They came out perfectly! Never had any feet or spillage into the area separating all the waffle wells. This was actually the first time making a chaffle that I didn't end up with spill over! I quickly learned that each well holds and good solid 2 tbsp of "batter" for the perfect chaffle.I have gone on to make true chaffles with egg and cheese, as well as dessert chaffles, breakfast chaffles, and pretty much every type that you can imagine chaffles! I love this little machine! It is great to be able to make more than one chaffle at a time, especially when you have a family of four who are all eating Keto! I make 22 servings at the beginning of the week, and refrigerate those not used on the first day. I have also used to to make the keto no corn bread with great success!! I highly recommend this product to anyone who will listen or wants to know of a good little mini waffle maker for their Keto journey.

But this NOW. Literally...right now.
Ok...I’m totally a CHAFFLES believer now,and this Churwaffle maker is freaking AWESOME!! So nice to be able to make four at a time, and although they are a little smaller than the Dash makes, I made three batches in literally no time. I even tried heating one up in my toaster after they cooled and it was even more perfect, if that’s possible! So I can make several and have them throughout the week or even freeze them. Any of the spillover I just used my scissors to make perfect little circles and the dogs are obsessed with the scraps! No mess, so easy and completely delicious. This was just the basic mozzarella cheese/egg recipe I found, but adding a few tricks that I found on the “Wholsome Yum” website that REALLY did work to make them amazing, were:* I used a little psyllium husk fiber (all I had were the capsules on hand, so for one batch I just cut open & sprinkled a couple of those into the mix, otherwise it’s a 1/2 tsp or so per batch ), 1/4 to 1/2 tsp baking powder & 3 or so tsp of coconut powder (the recipe tip said you could use almond flour too, but I didn’t have any on hand)* I used a combination of whole egg and egg whites to make it not so “eggy”. (If you were doing one single batch I would use one egg and one egg white)* the recipe tip also said to sprinkle a little bit of cheese directly on the hot griddle plate and then put your batter on top (the thicker the better...I used a spatula) and again sprinkle a few more little shreds of cheese on top of the batter. I guess that cheese layer just really crisps it nicely because these are totally crispy! If you’re KETO...buy this Churwaffle maker NOW. Like, literally right now.
