So worth the money! I cannot believe how good this thing plays for how cheaply priced it is. It's actually pretty loud in my opinion. At full blast, you can hear it from the other side of my house. The radio works really well, and the thing is very easy to use, so it would be good for a beginner. It does play all through the album. I think the review that says it only plays a few songs just doesn't realize it just isn't a stackable turntable and you have to flip the vinyl around yourself to play the other side. It came really well packed and nothing was broken. I love the color and sound of this thing. I really wasn't expecting it to be so great because it' so cheap, but its amazing. I highly recommend this thing for people who are just getting into vinyl and don't want to spend a ton of money. It's really great quality.

So...this is the second one of these I have bought since December. My daughter, 21yrs old, who I have raised to enjoy the things I enjoyed in the 80's, decided she wanted this for Christmas last year. So we got it for her. I had so much fun with it, I just bought me one and it was delivered today. I'm currently jamming to some 80's albums I ordered with it! This little machine puts out a very quality sound and if you want to crank it up....well you can do that too. It will really play the vinyl loud if you want!Downside of this: Now I have to start a record collection at 50yrs old! :)

A good turntable option that also has FM radio. Turntable works well enough and is smooth playing. The lift arm control seems a bit flimsy and loose. Switches are plastic to change the RPM. It is difficult to tune the FM radio with the analog controls. Radio comes on automatically when the turntable reaches the end of the record. The headphone jack works, but it is not very loud. RCA stereo out to run to an amplified or recorder.

Small and compact. Radio plays clear. Speakers are pretty loud considering they are a part of player. Love it!Update: did not use this as an everyday player. I would play two records during use maybe 1 every 3 months. It was used but definitely not over used. I went to use it one day and the needle was just hanging there. It just came off. Had it less than a year and used it maybe 4 or 5 times. A little disappointing.

Sounds great! Getting a 45 to play was harder than anticipated. The radio feature was really nice. It's a beautiful record player and probably the best for the amount of money. I haven't had the guts to close the lid while playing a larger record yet, but it did work just fine with the 45.Months later it the wires fell apart and only one speaker is working.

I bought this for my fifteen year old daughter who just loves it,, it looks like one I had many many years ago,,works very well,,does not have an auto needle bar though,, you have to use your own hand to put it down on the records,, but, still for a first time record player is is good.

Looks great and plays lps fine. Sound is ok and gets loud enough. Radio quit playing after three days, a little disappointed in that, but that wasnt what we purchased it for. My daughters first one and she can play her records, so for the price.....

I purchased this as a christmas gift for my husband. He loves this player and plays his vinyl all the time now. It's sturdy but light weight and I think it has a radio on it as well. Great for someone who wants to listen to vinyl.

This turntable didn't work right out of the box. The only sound we got was static and it didn't come with a cord to plug into the wall. I found that to be so weird. You had to provide your own electrical cord ! Still shaking my head over that. Thankfully Amazon has an excellent return policy.
