This husband and wife team truly does a fantastic job of looking at women in Scripture from a variety of perspectives. Clearly, women are not one dimensional in the Bible but to be studied, emulated, admired and even sometimes despised. I enjoy the alphabetic listing that makes it easy to find even the most obscure biblical woman. I have read this one from cover to cover and really appreciate the effort to both include women, tell their stories and remain completely true to the Biblical text. Definitely 5 stars!

I bought this as a gift for a young lady but liked it so much I bought one for myself. It gave you the origins of the names, what they were known for in the Bible, who they were related to, their backgrounds, etc. It is very interesting. It makes a great gift for birthdays, holidays, graduations, Baptisms, etc.
