**Update on my original review below** - Replacement boots arrived today. Much better condition, and Amazon replaced them even though the return date had passed.Boots are a good fit, however the leather upper on the left has small cracks, and almost an orange peel effect, whereas the right one is completely smooth. Bought them in August, tried them on and stuck them in the cupboard. Didn't notice this defect until I went to wear them in the recent wet weather. And of course the return window has now closed. Will try and contact Amazon customer services and see what they say.

When I first bought the boots and tried them on they were tight for my feet which are size 10. Boots were tight for width.Packed the boots with more paper for 2 days and the leather stretched and I can now wear the boots comfortably.Boots bought for work.

The boots came promptly and looked great but.... I'm a normal size 9 and I ordered the correct size but they were far too narrow and a very tight uncomfortable fit. It's a shame I had to pay the return cost, not refundable, when it don't consider it my fault they did not fit. I asked for the next size up but they were out of stock

Nice looking boot, soft leather upper, very comfortable and light. The composite sole/heel gives the boot a pleasant soft feel underfoot. Only minor grumble is the laces tend to slip and could be a little longer. Otherwise an excellent pair of daisy roots! Let's hope they wear well and last the course.

The boots are very light good for short walks .

Boots are a good fit - size as to be expected.They are comfortable and also look like professional shoes.Only down side is they are not safety boots - otherwise excellent.

Excellent and comfortable from the box boot from CAT at a price of £38. Softer leather than on the black version that does not distort or crease.
