I am not a jeweler. I am a motorcycle guy. This thing works great under your kickstand on soft ground.Pro tip:- drill a hole in one corner and attach a paracord. Keep the other end of the cord tied to your handle bar. When you are ready to leave, you do not have to bend over or get off your bike to block. You simply lift the block up, untie it from your handlebar and store it .

I might not make it silent but it does quiet it down.I sometimes craft at night and this is when I want absolute quiet during crafting so I dont both my co- tenant or neighbors , and this little block does do just that. keeps the noise so low Ive yet to wake them.I reccomed this Productthis seller, great value, and fast shipping.

It's a pretty good block of rubber! For the next person who might want to know, especially if they are not planning on using this as an actual jewlers block- the rubber it quite hard and cuts easily with wood saw blades. It made a perfect stopper for a very rattly spare tire carrier on an aftermarket Jeep bumper.

A bit spendy for what I’m using it for - as a kickstand stop for my motorcycle. It keeps the garage floor from getting marked up and keep the motorcycle more upright (which now takes up less room).

Use it under steel bench block to dampen vibrations and sound of hammering. Works pretty well, satisfied, bargain price.
