What if Wendy first traveled to Never Land . . . with Captain Hook? Sixteen-year-old Wendy Darling's life is not what she imagined it would be. The doldrums of an empty house after her brothers have gone to school, the dull parties where everyone thinks she talks too much, and the fact that her parents have decided to send her away to Ireland as a governess—it all makes her wish things could be different. Wendy's only real escape is in writing down tales of Never Land. After nearly meeting her hero, Peter Pan, four years earlier, she still holds on to the childhood hope that his magical home truly exists. She also holds on to his shadow. So when an opportunity to travel to Never Land via pirate ship presents itself, Wendy makes a deal with the devil. But Never Land isn't quite the place she imagined it would be. Unexpected dangers and strange foes pop up at every turn, and a little pixie named Tinker Bell seems less than willing to help. But when Captain Hook reveals some rather permanent and evil plans for Never Land, it's up to the two of them to save Peter Pan—and his world. Review: A must read for Disney fans - Nice addition to DISNEY collection Review: Very Goo - I haven’t read or watched the original Peter Pan story, so I don’t really have a point of reference, but I really enjoyed this read, as I have for all of the other books in this series. They’re adventurous, and they put a spin on classic fairy tales. I enjoy this whole series, and this book in particular, so I would 100% recommend it to anyone who even remotely like fairy tales, or even someone who doesn’t, and just enjoys a good fantasy read. Thank you for reading my review, and have a great day :)

Endless Adventures with Wendy and Tinkerbell
If you are looking for a book that has a lot of adventures and don’t mind the storyline drifting from the original movie, you’d enjoy this. This book focuses more on Wendy and Tinkerbell than it does Wendy and Peter. The storyline is based around tinker bell and prefers relationship and not Peter and Wendy’s. There were some rated R moments I thought but I enjoyed them as being a 26 year old. The ending is a little thrown together but I did enjoy the last sentence. Don’t expect this story to contain Peter Pan helping out on adventures like I stated it focuses more on Wendy and Tinkerbells adventures searching for Peter. Peter does not show up until 3/4s through the book. Overal I enjoyed it and it kept my mind busy while having surgery. I would recommend this book for the busy thinkers who need an escape. This book contains several adventures.

Avid reader who has read several twisted tales by this author: Great book! Exceeded expectations
This was a gift from my husband. I'll be honest here, I took my time getting around to reading this book. I read the beauty and the beast and sleeping beauty twisted tales by this author and was not happy with her writing. I started to read her aladdin tale and again had trouble with this author so I stopped. I was sure this book would be terrible. And the beginning of the second chapter with the very descriptive scene of London almost had me put aside the book for good - but I am glad I stuck it out because this was a wonderful book and has restored my faith in the author. I think she did a wonderful job capturing Wendy, tinker bell and all of Neverland. The book is full of adventure, wonder, and purpose. It is not obvious how things will be resolved and the main character is thoughtful in her growth as a character. The way the author writes is very descriptive so it is not a quick read, I caution you against speed reading or skipping - you will ultimately miss out on wonderful details and the deeper meanings of the tale. I think its a great book for any disney fan, Peter Pan is by no means my favorite disney tale (that would be beauty and the beast!). If you are on the fence, please give this book a chance!

A Beautiful Story!
I am a big fan of Neverland and Peter Pan retellings (in fact I'm writing one myself!) so I knew I had to check out this book. The only critique I have is that some parts at the beginning moved a little slow but the last half picked up and FLEW by (ha, see what I did there?). I love Wendy's character and the change and growth she experiences. I love the author's take on the relationship between Wendy and Tinkerbell and the focus on their growth rather than Peter. The descriptions of Neverland were beautiful and I LOVE where Wendy ended up. It's so amazing to me how many different interpretations of one place and story there can be and this version is one that all Peter Pan fans (and those who just love a good story) should check out!

Excelente *** SPOILERS ***
