Rit DyeMore Liquid Dye, Apricot Orange 7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

This clothing dye worked really well! The color came out vibrant and even, and it was easy to use. I used it to dye a white outfit for my daughter’s Halloween costume and the results were great!! The color lasted after washing multiple times, no messiness and worth the price.

My son is wanting to be Lorax for Halloween this year but every orange spandex/unitard is sold out everywhere so I bought a yellow one and used this dye and it came out perfect! I followed the directions and watched a few videos from other people and it’s the perfect orange!

This does dye plastic parts quite well, but I made a mistake you may avoid with this review. After reading a few online articles about how some people's project came out lighter than they expected, well...I used the whole bottle on a project. That was too much dye, it came out more of a super dark red instead of orange...not what I wanted. I "fixed" the project by just using Rit Dyemore Charcoal colored dye, making the parts almost black, which looked good. The lesson is if you use a light Ritmore dye, you need to get some scrap material that matches what you are going to dye, and start slowly increasing the concentration of dye in the boiling water while testing your scrap to get the exact shade you want (unless it is charcoal/black, then who cares, use the whole bottle). Also, I did the whole project outside with a portable stove burner...there is a slight smell I didn't want in the house, and if there was a spill by accident, it would be outside, no harm no foul. Also think out your disposal plan for the old dye...I would not pour it down a sink unless it is a sink that cannot stain. Good product if you are careful and think your project plan through from end to end steps.

My husband brought home lots of ugly FREE buttons, so I dyed them! They were really ugly. New life... Upcycled. Hmmm. What to do now? I followed the instructions exactly. Stainless pot, on the stove, covered the buttons with water. Once the water was hot.. not boiling, I added the dye and a squirt of dish liquid. Stir often. These were off white, hard plastic buttons. The dye covered beautifully. Very happy with the results.

I was genuinely excited to try the Rit DyeMore Liquid Dye in Apricot Orange, as the color looked vibrant and perfect for refreshing my old fabrics. I was very pleased with the initial results and the way the dye covered the fabric evenly without any patchiness. However, I ran into a frustrating issue that some others have also mentioned. My bottle arrived with a slightly off smell and leaked a bit during shipping, which led to some early spilling. This was clearly a defect with my particular package, not the product itself, but it left me feeling a bit cautious about how well it was stored or handled before reaching me. Also, while the color was great on cotton, it didn’t take quite as well on some blended fabrics I tried afterward, which was disappointing and felt like a limitation that Rit should clearly highlight. All things considered, I’d recommend this dye for anyone looking for a rich, vibrant color on cotton fabric and who is prepared to handle the basics of liquid dyeing carefully. It’s a solid choice if you want that bold apricot tone, just be aware that packaging quality control seems inconsistent, and this may affect your experience. I’m giving it three stars because the color quality outweighs those negatives but barely. If Rit addressed these shipment and fabric compatibility issues, this product would easily be a five-star winner in my book.

Vill varna att tullavgifter tillkommer med en beställning. Jag beställde tre flaskor. Ska betala 190 kr (beloppet kan komma att ändra beroende på olika faktorer) i tullavgifter. Hade jag vetat detta så hade jag ej gjort en beställning.

Selbst nach 10 minütiger Handwäsche und 2 Waschmaschinengängen ist die Farbe keines wegs sicher. Beim bügeln hat sich das gesamte Bügelbrett verfärbt in Orange, man sieht es besonders gut an den ehemals weißen Stellen. Zusätzlich hat die Färbung nur fleckig funktioniert. Ein wirklich desaströs schlechtes und absolut überteuertes Produkt. Nie wieder. Jetzt brauchen wir ein neues Bügelbrett.

C'est une teinture pour tissus synthétiques (acrylique, nylon, polyester...). J'ai été très étonné de voir sur le mode d'emploi qu'il fallait laisser le textile dans la teinture mélangée à de l'eau BOUILLANTE (93 degrés) pendant au moins 10mn. Ce n'est pas compatible avec le textile qui ne doit normalement pas être lavé à plus de 30 degrés!! J'ai donc essayé à 60 degrés seulement en doublant la dose d teinture, mais le résultat est de couleur très claire, et le tissu a un peu rétréci.
