This is the best coffee!!

I bought this coffee about 9 years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. I love dark roast and black coffee. This coffee is amazing and I am so thankful to be enjoying every morning.

I'm in a Lusophone Club and we had this as a part of our cafe de manha. My husband is definitely more of a coffee person than myself and loves trying new ones so I ordered some for him. The experience was really fun! The packaging is very different than the traditional Starbucks bags of coffee; it has ultimate freshness because it is basically vacuum sealed; if you've never had one like this before, be prepared to cut with scissors to open. You can still close it; we just poured the rest into a coffee canister personally. I also translated because it is written in Portuguese (but it is coffee, so you should be fine; I was mostly looking at if the coffee to water ratio was different). Another thing to keep in mind if you're used to drinking American-sized cups of coffee is that this will be really strong. In Brazil, they have cafezinhos (very small cups for coffee, think of a tiny espresso cup). I highly recommend you start out drinking this in a smaller cup or in a smaller dose. I poured mine into my cafezinho, and my husband poured his into a standard American mug. He took one big sip and was taken by surprise, haha!! If it is too strong for your liking, I recommend adding a little to your traditional coffee on days you need that extra strong kick.

Fell in love with Brazilian coffee while on vacation there this winter. I'm not a coffee snob. Don't do Expressos, Lattes, or flavored coffee, etc. I just like a good old-fashioned cup of coffee. I immediately noticed how much I enjoyed the taste of the coffee I was served at breakfast on my first morning in Brazil. It had a rich, strong flavor, but it wasn't bitter. It was so good, I drank it black, something I never do at home in the U.S. When I asked my waiter what type of coffee I was drinking, he said, "Brazilian, Pilao brand." I got online and ordered a 4-pack that same day from my hotel room. Turns out, this is a very common (and popular) brand in Brazil. It's served everywhere. You can pay more for other brands, but you don't need to. Can't recommend this coffee enough. Wonderful rich flavor without any bitterness. Very dark (almost black) color. Great aroma. The price for 4-pack is a real bargain. So glad this product is so readily available.

I finally found a good flavored, strong but not bitter coffee. I use this as a blend with cheaper store bought coffee. It makes a nice cup of coffee. It is a very fine ground however.

Caffè dal sapore fantastico.Anche se ormai siamo Nespresso-dipendenti aver assaggiato questo caffè ci ha resi Pilao-affezionati.È la prima volta che lo acquistiamo poiché prima ce lo avevano regalato ( e dato che era stato comprato in loco - Brasile - ovviamente costava di meno ).Comunque super consigliato.
