Pro Model with skate de-burring stone and scissors

I was skeptical when ordering this but after using this thing works great. Easily slips under the tape and cuts smoothly. Even worked easily cutting through grip with a tape “rope”.Update- the scissors are terrible.

Works great. Takes off tape effortlessly. Only concern is the blade says replaceable but I can’t seem to find them for sale

My husband plays novice hockey about once per week from early fall to mid spring. Because of our budget, he buys low to mid-grade sticks, spending less than $100 per after the sales price. He re-tapes after roughly every other game to prevent slashing damage. He tapes heel to toe with an additional tape layer along the bottom edge of the blade.In his first use of the Tape Tiger, he got all of the tape off of his blade in roughly 30 seconds, saving about 20 minutes. He made a single pass and was able to peel the tape away as a single piece. The metal tongue that slips under the tape and guides the product is rounded and just flexible enough that there was no mark on the blade of his Bauer Supreme 170. The scissors on the underside of the Tape Tiger are sharp; he used them to trim the layer of tape that he places along the bottom edge of the blade. However, because they fold into the tool, they aren't long enough to leverage well through the thick tape that he applies to the toe. He did not test the de-burring stone.After a single use, my husband plans to always change his tape with the Tape Tiger. I cannot comment on longevity. Other reviews commented on additional tools that came with the Tape Tiger, but we received only the Tape Tiger and are satisfied.

There are four people that play hockey in my house. Myself and my three boys. I have a total of 3 of these. I keep one in my bag, one on my eldest boy's team and one with the younger two. With them all still being young, I am constantly changing their tape. I think they all must play very heavy on their sticks because the tape is constantly wearing on the blade bottoms and the toe. What the reason, I change tape constantly in an effort to protect their sticks. This tool works great for quickly cutting tape along the length blade.The de-burring tool works fine as well. I only give this item 4 stars because the scissors that are attached to the tool and fold away like a Swiss army knife are almost useless. But you won't be buying this for the scissors, get it because it makes removing the tape so much easier, saving time and frustration.

With just one swipe of the tape tiger, I as able to change my son's hockey stick tape in about 3 minutes. It makes taking off the old tape a much easier job.

This is a great product to remove tape. However, the scissors are worthless! I can’t get them to cut anything! Very disappointing since they are a featured use of this product.

This tool makes quick work of tape jobs. It has a pair scissors which worked well for a good minute, but still a great tape cutter tool!

I wanted to love this product; however, it was a complete disappointment. I ordered the orange one and got a black one (not a big deal-but I wanted the bright one to find in when buried in my son's hockey bag). However, the item differed slightly from the one pictured. There was not two screws/rivets at the bottom - only one. The scissors did NOT cut through hockey tape - total waste of being on the product. We used it on the 1st stick and it took several attempts to remove tape - ended up using house scissors to finish the job. We attempted it on a second stick and the black plastic portion holding in the blade broke off immediately. I returned it for a partial refund. Do NOT waste your time and money!
