Klein Tools Tape Measure Holder, Heavy Duty Nylon

I'm an electrical apprentice and I'm always trying to dial in my tool belt setup. The Klein PowerLine Tape Measure Pouch is my latest addition. I was getting tired of the tape measure clip that came with my tool belt and wanted something easy. This pouch was it. It fits my FatMax 25ft perfectly and it's easy to retrieve/put away even with the pouch behind me. It also fits securely so I don't have to worry about it falling out. I also like that I can use the pouch for other things when a tape measure isn't necessary. I haven't put it through the ringer yet, but the build quality appears to be worthy of the Klein name.

It is large enough that the tape measure sits down in the pouch and is easy to get out with big hands. It also sits deep enough to not fall out. It was actually hard to find one of these that was durable, big enough. I would recommend this product.

Only one of these fitted the belt loop properly, but that ones internal stitching was also much worse than the other one. You can clearly see where they failed to make the loop the correct size. Very dissappointed. Update: +2 stars: a nice quality pouch when the quality control is done correctly, ordered the tape measure holder but I use it to hold hardware, and it has 2 small sleeves for impact bits or whatever. Perfect size and comfortable. Update again: -1 star: had to go through 4 different orders just to make sure the belt loop and stitching was correct, and even then the last one that arrived was not in new packaging like the previous ones. The stitching on this one was mediocre at best in comparison, only 1 of the 4 pouches I got in total was good in quality control, and that pouch is great, but doesn't make up for the awful inconvenience of ordering this multiple times before giving up on a decent one. Update again : I find the pouches incredibly useful for hardware or holding generally anything. The inner loop of the pouch is convenient place to hold my phone as well. The pouch has 2 small bit holder elastics inside, they are out of the way and useful. They are so useful in fact I now have 3, and this 3rd pouch that came in had no deficiency whatsoever, the stitching was correct, the form and shape was correct, and the belt loop fit 2 inches. Hopefully the rest of the quality control is better from this point on for others. I will update this to 4 stars because the product is great and I have hopes they have fixed the quality control.

Earns its five stars every day! I use this on my belt every day. I install cabinets and have a constant need to use my tape measure. This belt pocket stays open and is just deep enough that I can grab my tape, use it and put it right back in the pocket without even thinking about it. This pocket definitely carries on the Klein reputation for quality.

Love this pouch. It's my third one I've bought in over the years. I'm a Master Electrician and have been doing electrical work for 17 years Commercial, Residential, and Industrial.. This pouch has so many uses. From carrying tape measure to romex staples to MC fittings and straps or just being that third hand I needed when transporting materials up a flight of stairs. I'd have made the bit holders with a better material. It's a stretchy nylon loop and from past experiences, that material stretches out in little time. It would have been better to make it out of red, yellow or anything other than black. You can't see the loops in the pouch so putting a bit or pen back in a loop isn't great. The pouch is deep so my fat max sits low. No issue there and it's loose enough to get my hand it to get to it easily.

Once I received this tape measure holder, I instantly became aware of all the inadequate construction techniques in use around me. I can measure, cut, and frame a house in 90 seconds now when I’m wearing this pouch- ANY size house. My black T-shirt instantly turned into a red flannel, and my beard grew 6 inches overnight. My wife misses me, since all I do now is cut wood in my workshop. She would give this product no stars, but she does not possess the construction knowledge that I have obtained simply by applying this product to my tool belt- which by the way now has an endless supply of 6D common nails, and cannot be unbuckled.

Perfect size, XL, single (2 1/4”) belt loop, perfect hanging angle length and feel, shape-keeping form, ultra light and ultra durable. Zero metal. Exactly as advertised, and exactly as I hoped.
