An amazing all encompasing kit for someone looking to start print making at home and with a few tools. The paints are easy to use, as well as all the tools included. Maybe there are slightly better blocks to carve on, but someone can move to different ones, once the get the grip using this kit. You can still make amazing works with this little kit and can be the starting point for any beginners before they decide to invest in pricier tools/material, to see if this hobby fits them

I already own everything i needed for linocut, but i needed new paint and brayer. This was almost the same price as the 2 things i needed, and for 50 bucks you cannot pass it up. It contains everything youll need, paint, brayer, lino, speedball cutter and a plate for paint. Speedball definitely had design and functionally in mind when making it. Ive recently got my kid to try and he loved it! Its a great project for kids

I bought this to make block prints for my Patreon members. I didn't choose the best paper for the job, so that's where most of my consistency issues are arising I think. I also purchased some extra rubber carving blocks and have only used those so far, so I can't comment on the blocks provided in the kit yet. I'll be trying out the linoleum soon when I've decided on a design worthy of it. I noticed several reviewers complaining about the carving tool getting jammed - I have not had that issue. I think they're loading their tips incorrectly. There are two metal pieces inside the housing that hold the tips by compressing the curved end in between them, you need to place the tip in between those two pieces and tighten it, and you're good to go. It's not the most comfy carving tool but it works fine and the built in storage is nice. My only complaint is mainly with the brayer. It doesn't roll super freely, being the snap in style there's a little resistance occasionally, so it sometimes will slide through the ink instead of rolling through it and sometimes it takes extra rolls to get the right consistency. The bench hook is metal and quite nice quality, though I wish it was white or tan instead of black. But it doesn't really matter because you can see the ink texture so black on black is not a real issue. All in all a great starter kit to build off of, certainly worth the $50. I say buy it, but be ready to buy more stuff if you enjoy the process. I'm going to upgrade my brayer and get a baren and some fabric ink to round out my kit. When my carving tips get too dull I'll upgrade that tool, too. Happy printing!

This is a great starter kit which makes for the perfect gift for anyone wanting an easy way to get into blockprinting. Very friendly for beginners, it comes with all the basics one would need to start producing art. Prettily packaged, although the box seems like it could have been a bit smaller.

I'm new to blockprinting and this kit is perfect! I already tried the lino and rubber and I prefer the lino. I didn't use the carving tool because I use the ones from Power Grip which are better quality. The inks are excellent, I love them and I'm ordering other colors right now. I'm a water based artist, easy to clean, no odor, so I recommend them, the colors are basic but they are nice. The tubes are small, but I think it's enough for starting, you can try them and learn about them this way and then order more. I'm not sure if I'm going to use the extender, so I can't review it.

Als Geschenk gekauft - voll enttäuschend! Wenn man auf die geschlossenen Farbtuben leicht drauf drückt, (beim Herausnehmen aus der Verpackung) quillt oben aus der Pfalz die Farbe heraus. Das ist gleichbedeutend mit: kannst du wegwerfen. Für 90 € erwarte ich einfach etwas Besseres. Das geht zurück.

This is an excellent starter kit. Just need to realise that it is water based, not oil. Simple basic instructions and everything you need to start printing, except the paper. I would suggest buying those blank greetings cards and making your own designs for Christmas or something.

It was lovely to receive 2 types of lino blocks to cut, the cutting tools, several colours of ink and the table stabilizer as well as the roller. I'm impressed with how many prints I'm making from the amount of ink included in the kit.
