Meliora Cleaning Products Dish Soap Bar, Lemon

I love this soap! I bought this brand and had really liked it, but wanted to try another (cheaper) brand for comparison. The other brand's soap was cleverly packaged to include a loofah slice for the soap to rest on. Well, the soap was awful and didn't get my dishes clean.This brand gets my dishes -- even greasy pots -- sooo clean with just a couple of swipes of the sponge. Plus, as you can see from the photo, it is TALL. Because of that, it lasts much longer than the cheaper brand. Not only is it easy to use, but Meliora is sooo much better in every way! (And I saved the little loofah slice from the other brand, which has come in handy.)

This product is great for those wanting to go plastic free. However, it has a downside. Be ause it is a natural dish soap, it has natural oils in it as a base. This means you have to rinse a bit extra to get off the film, which doesn't save water: also not eco-friendly. The smell isn't strong at all, which I liked due to personal sensitivity. I could also use it to wash my hands. I think I will continue to use it as a hand soap, but am unsure about a dish soap. I will try another option of plastic free soap here on Amazon and update once I've tried another option to compare. Hopefully this helps other people!

Our household is trying to be better stewards of the environment, and this includes switching to bar soaps. I have tried multiple bar dish soaps that you can buy here on Amazon, and of all the bar dish soaps, this one is the best. The scent isn't overpowering and perfume-y, it lathers nicely, and it rinses cleanly if you give it a little extra time to rinse than you would liquid dish soap.I'm rather picky about my cleaning products, and there is a reason I buy this soap again and again. (We are on bar #2 already for this year!)

Seems to not rinse very well, I air dry my dishes and there is soap residue on my dishes after drying.

I bought to give my cpap nose piece a wash every day. Very light fragrance, medium sudsiness, and leaves no residue. Couldn't tell you how it works on dishes, but seems like it would work well.

Doesn't cut grease AT ALL. Used this once or twice and went straight back to Castile soap.

I purchased this dish soap was as a gradual move towards bottle-less cleaning. I am pleasantly surprised at how well this Meliora soap cleans. A little goes a long way. I run a wet scrubber brush or sponge over the bar, and voila -- suds. (No need to "rub" the bar- a light pass or two is sufficient.) It doesn't leave a film on wine glasses, and has cleaned a greasy frying pan well. I used it to clean a stove top this morning - it sparkles. I just wish it had a bit more of a scent - I don't notice the lemon at all.Definitely a keeper! Dare I say it almost makes dishwashrng fun?
