All Purpose Yoyo on a par with the Bumblebee
Let me start this by stating this; I have an affinity for DUNCAN Yoyos. This is the best Yomega yoyo I have used to date. My biggest problem with Yomega is they want you to buy multiple Yoyo's to do different tricks. The Various self recalling Brain Models are cool, but they are considered 'Rookie' yoyos, and say so on their packaging. Even the Power-Brain XP that has a switch to turn off the auto-recall function uses a trans-axial plastic sleeve akin to the Yomega Fireball. THIS yoyo, the Raider, is the first bearing yoyo in their line. It is the first Yomega I own that competes with the Duncan Bumblebee. I would put them on about the same level, and that's saying something, as I LOVE my Bumblebees. So if you are looking for an entry level yoyo, I believe you can start here with the Raider or with the Duncan Bumblebee. Anyone can start with the Duncan Imperials or Butterflies. In my opinion, if you can't do some simple tricks with these, yo just can't yoyo. Older players can skip the Yomega Brain and the Duncan Reflex, you can buy one for the novelty, but you won't be using them when you move on to more advanced tricks. Yomega Fireball and other Transaxials; In my opinion they are difficult to do advanced string tricks with. However, they do make great loopers. (I love my fireball for this)This yoyo has an excellent heft and great hand feel which is almost identical to the Yomega Fireball. It is a bearing yoyo, so it performs string stricks better than the Fireball. It's a classic! I do wish we could choose colors when ordering form Amazon. Mine came in orange with a double winged skulls logos. This would have been better in black. As a footnote other people are always complaining about yoyos "made in China". I think the entire Yomega line is made in China, and they make great products. Yomega proves that it can be made in China and still work.

yo this yoyo is awesome
First of all this is the best yo-yo i have ever encountered. with it it has 5 extra strings. using roller bearing technology this yo-yo can spin for over 30 seconds! great for doing string tricks looping tricks or whatever. the only thing i have to complain about this is that after a while of play the yo yo starts to come apart and will sometimes fly apart. the parts are small and you can loose them. However you can call yomega from their website [...]. here you can find a phone number to call and they will give you any pieces you need for free.pros: awesome yo-yo, great spin time, extra strings, warranty, and basic instructions, comes-apart design.cons: comes apart slowly, can easily lose partsover all this is a great yo yo for a progressing enthusiast and i would greatly consider getting it for any collection.

Disappointing for string tricks, but a great looper
First off; I am a Yomega fan. I had a couple of Fireballs and a Raider about 10 years ago. The Raider was my favorite back then, but alas, it was stolen. I got another Fireball for Christmas this past year and that sparked my desire for more. My newest Fireball has a sleep time from around 30-45 seconds. I expected the Raider to out-perform the Fireball, as it did in the past, it did not. The two are comparable. I simultaneously threw my Fireball with my left hand and my Raider with my right, the fireball slept for a good two seconds longer than the Raider. I am right-handed, so this made no sense to me.The Raider does return consistently, and does so with much force even near the end of the sleep. I can perform tricks like "The Mach 5" with my Fireball with relative ease. I cannot perform that trick at all with the Raider. Perhaps my bearings are faulty? My recent experience with the Raider is not what I remembered, or what I wanted. For a little bit more money (like $2-3 more), one might purchase a Hyperwarp Heavy Wing. They are much friendlier for string tricks, have a much bigger bearing, and have a much longer sleep time than the Raider does.Edit:I stand by my original review, but as time has passed, the yoyo has grown on me. I have cleaned the bearing and the performance has increased. The yoyo still doesn't perform well - at all - with string tricks. Again, "The Mach 5" is a fairly simple trick. I can do it with a Yomega Fireball, but not with either of my Raiders. Where the Raider shines though, is looping tricks. When I wrote the first review, I had not spent much time attempting to loop; I have now, and I use my Raiders on a daily basis to loop with both hands. I'm not great, by any means, but much better with the Raiders than with my Fireballs. They are fast and responsive and require less maintenance. I find myself lubing the transaxle on a Fireball pretty often to keep up the responsiveness.Overall, it is a quality yoyo.

Turned out to be my favorite
The yomega raider is a great all around yoyo. I am a novice player and own three yoyos, and after lubing it with some sewing machine oil, the raider turned out as my favorite! I can get about 20 seconds of sleep out of it (not much but as I get better that number will increase) and it is great for your basic tricks (I can do gravity pull, throwdown, rock the baby, brain twister, walk the dog) and works great for my little brother, who likes looping tricks (around the world, foward pass, etc). Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great overall inexpensive yoyo. It is well worth the price.

Yomega raider good beginner yoyo
Pretty good yoyo for intermediate to advanced but great for beginners it was one of my beginning yo-yos and has made me so much betterPros, durable, easy to take care of, sturdy axle, looks greatCons, the main bad thing is the noise it can get VERY loud after a while, the others are it could sleep longer only about 45 seconds, and not very good for string tricks

Great customer service
we are re-living our childhood while on quarantine. We had yoyos from the 90's but wanted to grab a new one. The first one shipped out quickly however within 1 use the item fell apart and pieces went missing. we contacted seller and after reviewing our photos they sent out a new one. we recieved the new one within a day or two. This is great service! This one works great, possibly the last one was just a lemon :)

FREGATURA..involontaria?????
Ciao a tutti.
