Miuzei Case for Raspberry Pi 4 with Fan 5V 3A Power Supply 4 Pcs Heatsinks

I've purchased well over a dozen of this style of case, and I can say it's one of my favorites for the RPi 4. Most of my fleet is RPi 5 now, but for the lingering lower-powered systems around the house, I favor this case style. Overall, the build quality is nice. The top and bottom acrylic sheets have a nice protective (cloudy) covering you remove, which leaves the most important, visible parts flawless if you're careful. I did see some debris from the laser cutting, but I was able to remove it with the sticky adhesive from the protective covering I mentioned above. This specific purchase was a replacement of a pre-existing case where the fan had failed, and it was actually cheaper to replace the whole case and fan rather than just order fans. The replacement was straightforward and, even though these were made by different companies, they were almost identical. The one "gotcha" I experienced was that the previous case had a slightly thinner fan and a slightly taller heat sink. In order to make this work without bending the acrylic sheets during closure, I had to replace the two main heatsinks, which were just slightly shorter than the previous versions from the other company. It might have something to do with how the fan screws and nuts stick out more as well, but the main thing is: replacing those two primary heatsinks allowed me to assemble without bowing. (Tension and bowing are bad in a case! If this is a fresh install, just follow the directions, and you'll be fine.) As I mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of the acrylic cases you assemble layer by layer — clear and black opaque material — as it's both fun to assemble and you get to see how things build up stage by stage, and why each stage is shaped the way it is. It's very zen. Almost like building blocks, but they protect your RPi. So the material looks great out of the box and installs easily. Just know that, over time, acrylic will scratch and also get dusty and dirty unless you're keeping these in a clean room. The old case I pulled was hazy and crazed, with loads of accretion from years of use, so the fresh clean acrylic is very nice — gives the RPi 4 a quick makeover. The cooling is an essential part of the higher-end RPi 4 and 5 units, and this case has a one-two punch: higher quality aluminum heat sinks (four of them), along with a main CPU fan. Install it the right way, based on the video, and the wires are perfect in length. You have two choices in how to plug this in: 5V/GND or 3.3V/GND. I recently decided to connect the RPi 4 fans to 3.3V, as this undervolting makes things quieter, and I'm assuming they last longer too. The enemy of fans is, of course, dust and other debris getting into the bearings, so make sure you maintain this over time. We've discussed the material — high-quality, precision-engineered and cut acrylic that holds things right where you want them — but we should also talk about the hardware itself. The screws and nuts are good. The original company used circular nuts that are partially hidden inside the case, nearly flush, whereas these nuts stick out far more from the acrylic. One benefit of the less-flush nuts is that they're easier to grip with a hex bit, so you can tighten them more easily. The four rubber feet on the bottom are nice for keeping the case away from the desk, which probably provides a little extra airflow and also keeps the screws and nuts from contacting your desk surface and prevents the unit from sliding around. This particular case comes with a 5V 3A power supply, and I really appreciated the versatility of the in-line power switch. Not every power supply out there comes with one, and having it built in is very helpful for when you want to cut power entirely. Phantom power is a real thing, and a physical switch is handy. The 3A supply is also enough to power an RPi 4 without throttling, which is essential. Overall, I can highly recommend this durable case: easy to install, a visual refresh, a quiet fan, new rubber feet, and decent heat sinks.

Layered acrylic cases seem to be a dime a dozen these days - everyone is making one, and not everyone is making them well. They put together loose and sloppy, and are hard to get lined up tight with clean edges. That's not the case here. This case was clearly well thought out from bottom to top - each layer is precisely molded to the components on the Raspberry Pi 4 to ensure a great stack. This definitely means you aren't going to get a Raspberry Pi 3 into this case, but it also means you are almost guaranteed to get super clean looking edges once your stack is complete. The fan is very quiet, even on 5V. I tried switching it to 3.3V, and I honestly couldn't hear a thing unless I put it up to my ear to listen. The two videos attached barely have the fan audible - this was the best I could capture! Keep in mind that the video was shot about six inches from the Raspberry Pi in an attempt to pick up audio. At a more reasonable distance, you cannot hear the fan at either 5V, or 3.3V. The pictures attached show the unboxing, and various stages of the build process from start to finish. The good: - It looks amazing, seriously. This is about the best looking layered case I've put together. - The included heatsinks and power supply make this case go from a good deal to a great deal... you're not going to need to add anything except an SD card, a micro HDMI cable, a keyboard and a mouse to get up and running. The neutral: - Pay attention to the (fantastic) instructions. Don't get ahead thinking you need to install the heatsinks first. These instructions really are clear about when you need to do what. If you've done this many time before, you'll be tempted to just "wing it". You may end up installing heatsinks in a way that will make the layers not line up. - The wires on the included power supply seem a bit thin, but it's only carrying 5V @ 3A, and it IS marked as UL listed... so they must be correctly. For reference, The wire on the official Raspberry Pi power supply is about 3x thicker. The bad: - I had no bad experiences with this kit, I am really happy with my purchase. Verdict: Highly recommend. As soon as I buy another Raspberry Pi 4, I'll be buying another case - guaranteed!

Bought this to setup a Pi-hole to block ads. This thing is neat! Super compact and very detailed and easy to follow instructions to build it around your Raspberry Pi. I've got a Pi 4 B and didn't have an issue with it. Excited to see how this looks once it's up and running!

I love that this is see-through, so I can actually see my raspberry pi 4b. The assemblage was mostly easy, though it's a little awkward at first because you want it to lay flush with the layers, but you'll actually end up with space between your SD card slot and the bottom layer (seen in one of the photos). But once it's all together it lays level and looks good. It was easy to tighten the screws by hand, and I like that they made sure the rubber feet were taller so the metal didn't scratch whatever surface it is on. You do need to pay attention as you tighten the screws so nothing shifts, and I recommend giving them a second tighten to make sure it's secure around your pi. Watching the video shows exactly how you need to put it together, and the fan worked just as shown, plus it was super quiet. You can tuck the wires in, I just kind of liked it poking out like that. The only issue (and it's fairly minor) is that the photo shows this coming with 4 heat sinks, and I only received 3. I liked the feel of it once I had it all put together, it felt as safe as any other case. Overall, if you want a secure home for your pi, but also want to be able to look at it, I recommend this product!

This case looks great and the Pi 4 fits great inside. As a bonus, it comes with blue heatsinks, a quiet but powerful fan, and a switchable power supply. It is a great value overall. The case itself is solid. The Pi 4 fits like a glove inside. The openings allow plenty of airflow and access for the GPiO and camera. The GPiO can be accessed straight from the top or off to the side. The fan operates at high or low speed and is virtually silent. I cannot hear it without lifting it up to my ear. It keeps the Pi cool without much effort and looks great. The only downside I've found is the mini-HDMI ports are inset in the case leaving a lip to the case that can interfere with some cables. I had an adapter that didn't work because it was both too wide at the end and bent 90 degrees so both the adapter and HDMI did not fit. However, I had a straight adapter that worked just fine. The service was great. I did experience a problem which was quickly remedied by a very competent and attentive support team. In all, I'm impressed by the product, the service, and the support behind this product. Buy one, and you will be too.

The fan is quiet, and the overall look is good with holes for the GPIO and the camera ribbon, as well as easy access to the SD card. The overall fit is good as well around the pi 4. The power supply works well and the on-off switch is really nice to have. Of the whole thing, the only part that I didn't like was the assembly. This is several layers of plastic that stack, which works for the job, but they move independently when trying to get it all together, which makes getting the screws in and it together kind of annoying. Once you have it together there is no more issue...unless you need to open it to change/add a ribbon for the camera. Still, for the most part, I like it.

I like that the case is designed to see all components with clear acrylic, and you can spot dust buildup and clean it before it becomes a heat problem. I like how the layers clamp the circuit board for the Raspberry Pi firmly without crushing it. It has a switching power supply that doesn't interfere with other electronics. (I had a transformer type before that interfered with my Echo Show, and made the Echo device act brain dead.) It venitlste very effectively, and hasn't gotten warmer than 45c since the new case was installed, and when it did, I was running Libre Office and GIMP image editing software st the same time. It cannot be heard, the fan on high is silent for all intents and purposes. The assembly diagram was in pictures and was very easy to follow. It took only 20 minutes to get the computer in securely, checked, and up and running. And got the price, I couldn't have done better. I've been building and repairing PC computers for 30 years, and this was a piece of cake. I think a 10 year old child could have done the job with minimal supervision. If I get another Raspberry Pi, it will be in this case, I'll buy another, they are near perfectly designed, very intelligently. I can't get over how cool the CPU stays, ventilation is great - but it can't be heard!

I held off buying this for a while because so many people had issues... I'm here to tell you it's easy af. I took maybe 10 minutes to do it. If I had any complaints it's the power cord Is not as long as I'd like. 1st of all likely the most thorough set of instructions placed with an item I have bought on Amazon to date Perfect product Under priced Assembly 10 minutes Aesthetically pleasing Functionality perfect. Zero issues with plugs Fan is so quiet, i nicked my ear b4 I heard it. My pi would now survive a bomb blast I'm sure of it. Will definitely be back for more. Tips when you get it do not shuffle the pieces. Take the screws out hold it together as it was and start there. Do Not mix the pieces up I can see that being a pain In the buttu

This case is good. Came with heat sinks and a fan which is two speeds, really liked that. Went together good and looks good. Fit perfectly. Also it’s a really great price for what you get!

Easy to setup. Fits the Pi nicely and the integrated fan is great. Its been running smooth 24/7 for about a year now.

Perfect case

Fits beautifully, and the fan operates quietly (barely audible), even at maximum power. Generally intuitive assembly (had to check the installation guide at times) and the included heatsinks stick on easily. Super happy with the high quality build of this case. Works as advertised.
