It's the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled starring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat and Tom Waits. In the sleepy small town of Centerville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behavior. No one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing the town: The Dead Don't Die—they rise from their graves and savagely attack and feast on the living—and the citizens must battle for their survival.Bonus Content:Bill Murray: Zombie Hunting Action StarStick TogetherBehind the Scenes of The Dead Don't Die Review: A Zombie Comedy That Hits All the Right Notes! - If you’re in the mood for a zombie flick with a delightful twist of comedy, The Dead Don't Die is your ticket to an entertaining and hilarious ride. Directed by Jim Jarmusch, this film is a fresh take on the genre, blending humor, wit, and just the right amount of undead chaos. From the very beginning, the film's quirky charm grabs you. With an ensemble cast featuring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, and Tilda Swinton, you know you're in for a treat. The actors deliver their lines with perfect deadpan delivery, making every scene a blend of comedy and satire. Murray and Driver's deadpan performances as two small-town cops dealing with a zombie apocalypse are particularly standout, bringing both laughs and heartfelt moments to the screen. The film’s unique take on zombie lore is both clever and refreshing. It doesn’t take itself too seriously but still manages to deliver some genuinely eerie moments. The blend of the supernatural with mundane, everyday life is where the film truly shines, offering a perfect mix of comedy and horror. Visually, The Dead Don't Die is a treat. Jarmusch’s signature style is evident in the film's aesthetic, with its cool, relaxed vibe that contrasts sharply with the chaos of a zombie outbreak. The soundtrack is also worth mentioning—it's an eclectic mix that perfectly complements the film's tone and adds an extra layer of fun. Overall, The Dead Don't Die is a delightful, offbeat comedy that stands out in the crowded field of zombie films. It’s funny, smart, and surprisingly touching in places. If you’re a fan of witty humor, clever dialogue, and a unique twist on classic horror, this film is definitely worth adding to your collection. Highly recommended for a laugh-out-loud, enjoyable movie night! Review: A Movie Not Worth Being Super Negative Over - I feel like those who are overly negative with words like "this is the absolute worst thing I ever seen" probably wasn't the target audience for this flick. This movie is delightfully on the nose, has fourth wall breaks, not much of a plot, characters interact and talk in a "non realistic" way but really that's kind of the whole thing isn't it. Just painfully aware that the whole thing is kind of dumb and that is as much a reflection of our culture as anything else will. If you didn't find this funny nor entertaining then the movie doesn't work for you and not everyone is going to feel that way. I always encourage you to watch it and if it isn't in your taste then just leave it alone and go to the next thing. Just because a bunch of people screaming into the void says this is "the worst thing I ever seen ever period" doesn't mean it is. It just means they got upset at something that is painfully aware of itself. I give this five stars cause I believe it deserves it. Watch it for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

Don't take movie serious. Still good.
Ok...this is a good movie. Not great, but funny parts. It is inside humor and you have to have a brain to get all the easter eggs. It has past zombie and horror reference. If you are looking for blockbuster zombie, not your movie. It has a great cast , and will be a cult classic years down the road, and definitely has catch lines people will repeat. Has an underlying message we are zombies in life and materialism. I rented it. Don't take it serious, not supposed to be serious.

Bill Murry must have made this movie on a bet.
I bought this movie because I am a Bill M. fan. The writers of this movie could not make up their minds if this was going to be a Dark comedy or another Zombie movie. They tried to make this movie too many things. somewhat entertaining, drawn out, with no one to root for whether the town or the Zombies, it was weak! It should of gone down the path of Dark comedy that Mr. Murry could have pulled off, or silly zombie movie that would have worked too. But..and I mean But, a little of each did not work. Sorry Bill.

Six Stars, Please. The Blazing Saddles of Zombie Movies
Don’t rent this film. Buy it. It’s one of those movies that can be watched over and over again. It should become a staple every Halloween and whenever the earth falls off it’s axis due to polar fracking or any other cause. This may be Jim Jarmusch’s best work. It is funny, clever, well-written and carries an arc that keeps the viewer engaged as everything goes crazy. It is to Jim Jarmusch what Blazing Saddles is to Mel Brooks - a loving tribute with a social message that doesn’t require the viewer to take it too seriously, in fact, requires laughter. The cast, living and undead, is impeccable. Danny Glover, Steve Buscemi, Selena Gomez, Caleb Landry Jones, RZA, Rosie Perez and others are terrific and scripted well. Iggy Pop, Sarah Driver, Carol Cane Sturgill Simpson and many others, even the extras, are lovable (yes, lovable), quirky, funny versions of well-worn zombie tropes. The central cast of Adam Driver, Chloe Sevigny, Tilda Swinton and his royal highness, Bill Murray, create an ensemble that should come back in other movies too. Tom Waits as narrator, conscience and, well, Tom Waits, is a stroke of brilliance. The film breaks both the fourth and fifth walls. The character portrayed by Adam Driver seemingly talks to the audience at various times, while we are treated what is a private conversation between actors Murray and A. Driver that also brings it all together. Mel Brooks took it a couple of steps further, but this behind the scenes is another trait in common with that masterpiece. The filming and location evoke a sweet genuineness that so many films have trouble marrying together. It feels like a small town in the mountains because it is. If there is disappointment, it is that though credited, Daniel Craig did not make it on screen and that Harvey Keitel isn’t part of the cast either. Oh well. While it sometimes feels like Jim Jarmusch films are too cool for school, The Dead Don’t Die is entirely accessible. Buy it. Watch it. Tell your friends. Have a DDD party. It’s guaranteed to end well.
