DO NOT BUY! *by P***W on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2018* The item is advertised as 70% merino wool, and the package and the hats say they're 70% merino wool. However the material doesn't feel like merino; merino is super soft and fine, whereas these hats are rough and stiff and scratchy.So I picked up some loose fibers from the inside seam to test them. When burned the fibers did not burn like wool (thread shrivels into dust and smells like burning hair), but like polyester (burns brightly, leaving a hard melted end, gives off a chemical smell).
