A Very Nice Kettlebell Alternative!
I was originally looking for kettlebells, but after a little shopping decided against them because I'm very clumsy and I can just see one of those babies crushing a foot or breaking something in my house. I'm also recovering from injuries to my arms and hands (thanks to an idiot drunk driver) and have a lot of pain, plus I bruise very easily, so a real kettlebell seemed less attractive once I found this. This looked to be a great option as I can still get similar benefits to a kettlebell workout. Granted, these don't come in more than 20 lbs, but my arms may not be able to handle that much anyway. We'll see. I have the 15 and 20 lbs sizes. They look a bit awkward, but they can do the job! They can swing, not quite as gracefully as a kettlebell, but I don't have to worry about breaking any bones, bruises, cuts or scrapes, either! Of course, you can still pull a muscle if you don't pay attention, but that's probably it. I can do a lot of other exercises that are done with kettlebells just fine. The handle is metal covered with neoprene and is comfy and has room for two hands for medium to small hands, anyway. You can't park it like a real kettlebell as it will just fall over, and for a short person, doing figure 8/lunges are not optimal. But everything else is good. There is nothing wrong with cast iron or steel kettlebells, if that is what you want. There is nothing wrong with these, either. Both are very useful, it's a matter of what your needs are and goals are. They're certainly a nice kettlebell alternative. So if you want the benefits of a (lighter weight) kettlebell, and don't want the risk of one, give these a try or look into sandbells or steelbells.

Great for sensitive skin
I like working out with kettlebells but I have delicate skin that bruises easily. I found the traditional hard kettlebells would leave marks (on my wrists mostly even with protectors on) and that I could only do those kettlebell exercises every now and then. I do not have the same problems with the soft kettlebell. It doesn't bruise my skin and I find it easy to use. The handle is surprisingly easy to hold and I am able to pass the weight between my hands. I do have fairly small hands so it might not be as easy for people with larger hands as it doesn't offer quite as much handle space as more traditional hard kettlebells. I am considering buying another soft kettlebell in a higher weight. I found this to be a great beginner weight for me, I'm not in the greatest of shape but I'm working on it.

Metal handle inside the neoprene
First one I ordered never arrived. Had to cancel that order and try again. Second one arrived on schedule.Good quality product so far. There is a metal pipe inside the handle. I thought it might be more like my sandbell that I can throw and slam, etc. This works like a soft kettlebell, but the metal handle has stopped me from throwing or slamming so far.

Good kid kettlebell
It made me nervous watching my 14 year old daughter swing my kettlebells, I was worried about her dropping them on the hardwood floor, have it fly off into the plasma screen, or worst of all, land on her foot! Being a soft item, this is hopefully a bit more forgiving than an iron bell. And my daughter loves it! While this is great for a young teen, if you are an adult of average strength and/or already accustomed to traditional kettlebells, just stick to the regular iron bells. It just doesn't have the same feel to it as a regular kettlebell and not nearly as versatile. Also, the handle has a seam on it that could get uncomfortable after doing more than a few cleans. But if you primarily just do swings like my daughter does, this is just fine.

It's comfortable, and fairly durable.
I got this for my high school class. I've only used them for a week, so I can't speak with total authority, but lesser products have died in less time. It seems to be well made, and comfortable to hold. If anyone's really interested in the durability of the product, right a comment, and I will update the rating to 5 stars.

Better than the hard Kettle balls!
Easy to use, doesn't flip much, just like a regular Kettle ball but I'm not afraid it's going to scratch up the hard wood floors when I put out down. Easier to store too. I'm very happy I got these & wish I had them long before investing in the hard Kettle balls.

This seemed like a good alternative
I wanted to get a kettlebell, but I was concerned that it would tear my skin up when doing certain workouts. The skin on my forearms is thin from having chemo several years ago. This seemed like a good alternative. It works very well and doesn't cause problems with my skin getting damaged. The handle is comfortable, and it is very well made.

Seems to be alright so far.
These seems to be a decent product, we'll have to see over time for durability, but they feel fine. Great when safety is an issue, but don't expect these to completely replace regular KB, but for specific needs, these are great.

this one is soft and the quality is not bad at all
I gave this as a gift for my brother. Unlike the other metal kettlebells, this one is soft and the quality is not bad at all. Thumbs up!
