Great gift
My mom loved these little individual wrapped candies! There's so many in one jar and the flavor is amazing! Violets are her favorite thing in the world so the flavor and scent of these candies captured then perfectly! I will definitely be buying these again for her.

Ok, but flavor is very subtle, weak.
I was disappointed in the flavor. Too subtle.

Almost ZERO flavor!
Like others, I have been search for violet flavored candies for years. Over 25 years ago, Caswell Massey used to make "flower" flavored candies in a small tin. This is what turned me on to the flower flavors, including violet. Caswell no longer makes them and I have been searching ever since.I eagerly awaited the arrival of these, hoping they would end my search. The first small disappointment was the container. On the photo, it appeared to be glass - at least at first glance. It's not, it's made of cheap plastic. Each candy is only slightly larger than a pencil eraser and there are less than 1 cup of them total. Not a great value, regardless of the taste.Immediately when you pop one in your mouth, you get a split second flavor of violet, and yes, I do mean split second. Just enough to make you really want violet candy! After that, nothing but the faintest hint of honey. Without the violet color, you would assume these were flavorless - just hard sweet balls. If you eat one right after another, you don't even get that initial taste.I have tried every violet candy product on Amazon and have not found a single acceptable product. If you are seriously craving violet candy, I suggest you make your own candy using violet flavoring - there are many "violet flavored" products on Amazon. I will soon be trying this myself. The hard candies are simply a boiled sugar syrup with flavor and coloring and I'm sure that candy molds can also be found here for both balls and suckers. I have to believe that with a couple of tries we could get it right!Back to the review - I do not recommend these as a violet candy product. If you're content having small hard candies that are simply something sweet and you have money to burn, you may enjoy them.

Yuck. Old taste. Trashed the full jar.
Nasty. Kept getting bigger as I chewed. Tasted old I trashed it.

Delicious
Love these...originally discovered in the France Pavilion at Epcot, since Covid I haven’t been back. Thrilled to find these here, not so thrilled that my family loved them too. Needed to reorder within the week of arrival!

Get the violet honey-filled ones instead!
These are not as good as they sound. Violet taste is very subtle, mostly just balls of hard sugar candy. Not nearly as good as the violet honey filled kind.
