A thousand years ago, I used a towel to keep my car seat dry. Somehow I found SeatShield and I've never looked back. After a summer trail run, I am dripping sweat. With this cover, my seat stays dry. I have been caught in thunderstorms and soaked through. The SeatShield made a pool of water, the seat...dry. Amazing product. I just used it today and will use it over and over, the BEST.

Looking for a car seat cover for preventing "seat burns" from summer sun (2023 Explorer). Found this seat cover (and its' "more expensive" brothers) here on Amazon. After weighing the "options" of all three, decided on this one (the Least Expensive) as I don't need to "wet protect" my car seat.Long story short: this cover DOES THE JOB, and does it very well. Because I don't have a "sweating issue", I'm leaving the cover on FULL-TIME during the Summer Months.Until "something changes" regarding the cover, I ** DO RECOMMEND ** it if all you're looking for is a "heat barrier" between a "frying" car seat and your legs/backside. :)

This brand has options for higher quality seat covers. if you want something very basic that works and not expensive - this works just as well but not as nice feeling. overall met my needs and I'm happy with it.

I like that there’s no straps so I'm able to easily take it on and off my seat when I go to the gym. It protects my car seat from my sweaty clothes.

This is great! Easily slips on & off by hooking over the headrest. Big enough to cover the whole seat & goes almost down to the floor in front which is important. Keeps sand off my seats & is pretty waterproof - you can sit on it in a wet bathing suit & the wet doesn't go through to the seat.

I understand it was a basic level but the product is cheap material.

A friend recommended this company for their car seat covers. His was a shammy with a lovely waterproof film on the backside, and it was comfortable and attractive. The cover that arrived to me was horrible. It looked and felt like I was sitting on a paper towel.

Bought these as a mountain biker who gets sweaty and dirty pretty regularly before jumping in the car, on top of that this has been one of the rainier summers on record in New England so these covers are getting used more than I had anticipated. I’m really happy with how the material has a soft touch without being absorbent so they are easy to have dry the next day. Also they aren’t bulky so they roll up and stuff under the seat well. Would buy again.
